Super soft material. Wish I could give this 5 stars just for that. But after i handwashed it and hung it to dry, I woke up the next day with two missing buttons. Examined the sewing and they are barely sewed in to the shirt. The pants have a very thin elastic around the waist. Comfortable but not sure how long that will last. For the price, I wouldn’t recommend because of above mentioned. If you do, prep to reinforce buttons and it runs VERY large. I wish I could return but I was so excited about the softness of the material I have already washed it. ... show more

Pro: These are beautiful, soft and comfy. Con: very short leg, weird waistband, no pockets. My husband has the men’s version and they are quite long, have a nice wide waistband and have pockets. The women’s version does not have pockets and at 5’8” the pants flap a little around my ankles. If that doesn’t bother you, they are great. But if you’re taller or want pockets, order the men’s version. ... show more

The NYT recommended these as the best pajamas and they are great quality and fit. They are not packaged as nicely as the Barefoot Dreams ones and do not have the drawstring waist but otherwise are very similar to the BD ones. I am 5' 4" and 130-135 pounds and a medium fits me and is even a bit baggy but that's OK for PJs. I see other comments about the waist being too low but mine were fine. My guess is that the individuals who complained bought too small a size. Also, I have put them in the washer and dryer several times now with no problem.
