I have been wearing this for the past 35 years and still receive compliments, most importantly from my my wife who loves the smell of it. Classic, clean smell for wearing everyday, office and formal occasions. I am almost sure Armani pulled this product a few years back since it was very hard to find ( I ended up ordering them online in US and it was fulfilled by a merchant in London.) and they brought back for the loyal base. ... show more

This is NOT the eighties version for those like me who are the original Armani fans, but it’s still a very nice scent. It’s similar to the old version, but the BASE spectrum has been taken out, which makes it less heavy, but it still beats many of the new “too sweet” and nauseating new colognes Armani and others are creating these days. ... show more

    • Not Fake just different item being delivered !!
I ordered this item and what I got is what others got too, a different product with a silver bottom , smaller bottle and different smell . Called Customer care and I reported that the item is a " Fake " , they gave me a refund since it is a " flammable " and cannot be returned. WELL after doing some research , the actual issue is that the Armani I got and others did, is a different item , Amazon for some reason delivered the wrong item. There is Eau de toilet and there is Eau de Parfum , Armani makes both and what we got is Eau de Parfum , which is totally different . item. ... show more

    • Something really wrong with this defective Armani
I have been wearing this Armani trademark cologne for 30 years since it first came out. It is arguably my favorite cologne of all time, but the product that showed up was NOT the same. The bottle design changed, and it looks similar, but the bottom and the cap are now silver and black instead of black and gold. Also, the new bottle is a little bit narrower. I don't know what happened? It appears that Armani decided to update and significantly change the Armani cologne and the new version is TERRIBLE!!! First of all, it does NOT smell like the trademark Armani at all. Secondly, it is so weak, you can't even smell it a minute after you put it on!?!?! If Armani decided to try and update their classic cologne, the outcome was an AWFUL MISTAKE. How bad? It would be like going to the store and buying a container of orange juice, and bringing it home and pouring it in a glass to find out there was sour milk in the Orange juice container!?!?!? Seriously, this is a HUGE MISTAKE!!! So if somebody from Armani reads, this, please bring back the original. This is much worse than the difference in-betwen the NEW Coke v. Coke CLASSIC fiasco. I can't even begin to communicate how disappointing this is !?!?!?! Armani, please bring back the magic!!! ... show more

    • This is pure Armani.
Fresh scent. The product is older, but I see it more as a style than a fashion statement. The scent doesn't last as long as the perfume, but is also less intensive the first couple of hours.
