Once your weight has been taken, the scale will beep three times and hold your reading on the 3" x 2.25" bold black with bright white digits display, allowing extra time for you to step off the scale and view your weight. **UPDATE** I weighed myself on a doctors scale and it came out with the same calculations as the EatSmart scale! I also weighed myself again at the gym and it was the same thing. My EatSmart scale just got delivered. Right out of the box it has a deep crack on the glass & is dirty. I'm so incredibly upset. I am on a weight loss journey & am currently 520 pounds. I really didn't want to have to return this item. Seeing the numbers go down day by day really motivates me to stay strong.

I've had this scale for 3 months now and its accuracy somes into question. I have moved the sacale to many surfaces in my house and i can step on it 3 to 5 times in a 5 min span and get 3 to 5 different weights. I don't know if mine if defective or not but it's disheartening to see such a difference in such a short amount of time.

Weigh the front tire, weigh the back, add together. Close enough. None of my motorcycles are over 300 lbs. on either end, so this works great. It works as a people scale also, but I like to weigh things I can easily change. Simple, straightforward scale with a few of the common units of measurement. Large base - shoe size 15 - no problem. If you weigh (average size) babies, small pets or cats, this would not be ideal - unless you way like 10 at a time (Velcro them together?), then maybe it would work. It doesn't seem to like things under a certain weight, say 20 lbs. (I admit - my cat totally registered a weight). Anything over that seems to register just fine. But you can use a heavier mass to start and subtract the lighter element. Take your 70lb. golden retriever, let your cat ride it and weigh the before/after - that would be the weight of your cat. There is no way this would measure the weight of a mouse, no matter how you do it. No matter what I did, Ms. Mouse did not change the reading at all.

I purchased this scale Jan 2021 and was very happy with it. The accuracy has been point on as I see many Drs and compare hospital scales to this one. Just yesterday, it stopped working. Changed the batteries and it still is not working. I’m trying to troubleshoot online, but think it’s dead. Disappointed

I had an old digital scale and it was getting so I could not hold still long enough to get a reading. I decided to buy a newer one. Its fast, almost and instant reading. I love that it beeps and holds the weight reading. One of the reasons I could not hold still was because I was leaning forward to read the scale and that made me wiggle on the scale and get an error in the reading. This is perfect. I stand still until it beeps and then I can look down and read the scale. It stays there for several seconds after you get off the scale as well. And the display is easy to read. I love it.

A real champion scale. this is an awesome scale for the price. Probably one of the best I’ve ever seen or used. Sometimes I’m leery of Amazon reviews, but they were right on with this one. This thing works really well I mean really well and when I trip over it in the middle of the night it only hurts a little bit LOL. Seriously up to 550 pounds for my brothers and sisters who are a little bit on the heavier side this is a great scale it’s got the great width for you no wider people. And again it goes up to 550 pounds.

Works good. I am very large weighing over 450 and this scale works for me. The battery cover has popped off once so I taped it down. Also had an issue where it switched from pounds to kg. Probably because the button to chang is on the bottom and it got pushed when I stepped on it.. other than those issue it works. Only one I could find at a decent price that would read my weight. They could have made it a little more sturdy since it is for very large people.
