Description

EasyFlex Composite Landscape Edging creates a heavy-duty barrier to define flowerbeds and landscape areas. This dig-in edging is made from a composite blend of plastic materials that will last for years, even during temperature fluctuations and periods of ground freeze/thaw. For use in both commercial and DIY landscape installations, EdgePro Composite Landscape Edging has a 4" wall height and requires moderate effort to install: dig a trench along the installation area, place edging and stake the edging into the ground. Kit includes (1) 40' coil of edging and (24) anchoring stakes for a complete 40-foot installation.

This heavy-weight edging is great! It’s dense and clearly will last years. Installation is time consuming due to the trenching, but it is absolutely worth it. The finished product looks professional, clean, and complements my river rocks perfectly. It is stiff right out of the box, so lay it in the sun for a while and then it becomes more flexible and easy to work with. Since the edging goes in the ground, it doesn’t require a bunch of stakes, but you’ll have to make sure the dirt is packed tightly against the edging to help secure it.     • Length and organic look
If you prefer a bit more organic look in the garden, this 4 inch composite is just perfect. Easy to install, easy to bend for curves and plenty of strong stakes. They come in multiple lengths, I used the 80 feet for long stretches when no connection pieces are needed

    • Good choice for defining turf-to-dirt borders without looking harsh
I used the brown version to separate artificial turf from a dirt area along the side yard. The color blended in better with the soil than black would have, while still giving the border a clear, finished edge. It was easy to position and install without a lot of fuss. The edging is thick enough to feel substantial, and the stakes held up well during installation. The biggest improvement was visual: it made the yard look more organized and kept the transition between surfaces from looking unfinished. For anyone setting borders in a more natural-looking area, the brown color makes good sense. This edging kit includes everything you need to make a small flower bed. Because of its thickness, the composite edge should last for many years. I like the brown color. The edging was really simple for me to install, and it holds mulch inside with ease. For so little edging, the price is incredibly high. Got the black and came back for the brown!! I like to use different colors- black in the front more formal and brown in the back more wild. I never seem to be able to have enough edger to satisfy my obsession with building more and more flower patches and landscaping lol! I’ve tried lots of different kinds and styles and decided on this one for its simplicity and flexibility. I’ve muscled over edging before that was more expensive and had a lip on the edge. However, the material of my previous ones were not as thick and durable as this item seems to be. I can’t wait for the ground to thaw out a bit more so that I can start my spring gardening and get this edger in the ground! The color options are nice as well. Easy to work with garden edging. Lots of stakes are provided that allow you to space them about 1-2 feet apart. They held up to being hammered in ok (only one snapped). I used it on some bushes along my driveway which made it look a lot cleaner and will be easier to keep in check and leaf blow around. I think it's probably best used for more organic and curved shapes unless you have a really flat/smooth surface to work with otherwise it may not look completely straight. It was enough to go around the front and partially around the back of this section. Haven't cut it yet, but it seems pretty tough and will stand up to many years of use. ... show more

We got this edging to use in an upcoming landscape project. It’s very heavy composite material, it looks like the composite material used for decks. The 40’ length comes with 20 matching spikes to secure it in the ground and instructions are included for proper placement. I can imagine that this will definitely be a two person job due to the weight and stiffness of the material, but it appears to be very high quality and, unlike the cheaper edging we’ve used in the past, should last for many years. It’s a bit more costly, but of very nice quality and made in the USA! ... show more
