The shoes look a little wide but that may just be the design as they don't feel so once you put them on, they are very comfortable. I wear them at home so they work very well for me. Good buy.

I am normally an 8 1/2 shoe, but get wide width due to bunions. I just received these in an 81/2 W, and they do fit, but without sock my toe hits the front. And they do not fit like a wide shoe-much narrower. I would suggest going up 1/2 size and if you don’t have a very narrow foot, get the wide width! ... show more

These are my 2nd pair. I had the 1st pair for at least several years and although they looked like hell, the soles were still good and they were sooo comfortable I hated to give them up. I even machine washed them occasionally. I ordered a 9W and they fit just right with bare feet. My last ones molded to my feet and after a while I could also wear light socks with them too (meaning they stretch out a little). I need a lot of arch support and these are pretty good. I had bad plantar fasciitis for a while and these were really comfortable to wear when that bothered me. They have removable insoles if you want to change them out. Another good thing? I love Easy Spirit shoes. Usually wear a medium width, but these were quite wide, sliding off my foot as I walked around the house to check the fit. Had to return them.
