This is a nice kit and with 100 test strips, it’s an excellent value. I have never downloaded the app and don’t plan to—it works just fine without it. I wish that it came with testing solution to ensure accurate results because the readings with this meter are quite a bit lower than the meter I have been using for a while. That said, I do hope the meter I have been using is off because I definitely prefer the lower readings this meter has been giving me. While I do understand that it’s normal to have results within 15% +/-, 15%, it would be nice to know which one is giving more accurate readings. By all appearances and uses, this is good quality and works as described. What a great value!

I've always wanted to obtain an accurate snapshot of my blood sugar levels and now I can with the Easy@Home Wireless Glucose Monitor Kit. It contains everything you need including test strips and lancets, along with a pocket-sized device with which to show your results. But get ready for some reading... There are no fewer than 3 booklets/flyers included in the kit, and after all of that reading, Since it was a little too much after all that reading, I decided to forego the app and confine my test to the kit itself (this is something I'll use infrequently, so I won't need the tracking that the app would offer). Once I read the lengthily instructions, I found that everything snapped together easily, and the blood puncture event was essentially painless. Once I massaged my finger to grow the sample, it quickly attached itself to the test strip and I had my results almost instantly. Sans app, I'm very pleased with the Easy@Home Wireless Glucose Monitor Kit. With more concise instructions, this would be an even better kit, and might induce even more people to stay on top of their blood sugar levels and live a healthier life.

This Easy@Home EBG-100BLE Blood Glucose Monitoring System is very complete. I was impressed with how many lancets and test strips were included. Included in the package are: 1 blood glucose meter, 1 lancing device, 1 zip-up, padded carrying case, 100 blood glucose test strips, 100 blood glucose lancets, a user's manual and a quick guide. You can scan a QR code off of the box to watch a video guide as well. In addition, you can download the GlucoseEase app from a different QR code on the box. The test strips come in 2 jars. The dates and all the numbers looked fine according to everything I read in the related literature. Unfortunately, an Error code kept popping up, so I had to repeat poking myself over and again to get more blood to apply to fresh test strips, but I was still getting Error codes, sometimes E23 and sometimes E24. I kept rereading the instructions to ensure I was not making any mistakes, but no matter how careful I was, it kept happening. Then I decided to try a test strip from the other jar, and just like magic, I immediately got a readout with no error codes! So, it seems the first jar of test strips is defective, but the second jar is fine. I've got purple marks all over my fingers and one arm at this point, but I'm glad to know that the problem was not with the machine itself! I'm really happy with how quickly the machine reads out! It can be a little challenging to drip the blood onto the proper location of the test strip due to where that strip is located, but once you do it, the readout shows up within about 5 seconds!

This machine was very easy to use and I like how it comes with a case to keep everything together. The numbers are big on the screen so you can read it with no problem. I love the fact that it connects to your phone so you can do this on the go and record your readings.

If you've never used one of these, you might have some reading to do. If you have used one in the past, you might still need to spend some time setting it up and figuring everything out, as instructions are not perfect. I don't normally like to download apps that I don't know much about as I have concerns about what data they have access to and how the information is used. If you don't use this device regularly, you can probably delete the app and reinstall every time you need it. Once you get everything set up, it's not too complicated to use. The results are accurate. But overall, the device takes some time to figure out and is just not as easy to use as other devices coming from well-known brands.

I used a user friendly kind that is very easy to understand so this is a little confusing for me. Also find the results different than my other one so not sure if I want to trust it. Pricier overall, yes you get other features that honestly do you even need. If you just want to measure your glucose I think I prefer the simple one I have and not this one.
