I received my kit yesterday 09/7/2023`I tried testing this morning and kept getting error message saying faulty test strip. I went through 3 more test strips before one worked. Tried testing again this afternoon and kept getting same message. I went through at least 5 or 6 more test strips and kept getting same message so I gave up. Very disappointing and frustrating!!!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised at how effective this meter and test kit were given at the price point was so low. The strips are really easy to use, the only thing you might not expect is that you have to add the drop of blood on the side not at the top or bottom of the strip like you do with most meters. My results have always been accurate, even when I'm tested two or three times in a row the result has always been the same. One thing that I would consider a top tip to mention, is that you have to put a new strips back into the container and make sure it is sealed up tight. Once I accidentally took out an extra strip that I did not use, and just threw it back in little zipper case without making sure it was inside the sealed container. When I try to use it the next day I got an error code. Overall though this is an amazing value for a basic meter and I would recommend this to anybody.

I've been using this blood glucose test kit for a few weeks now, and it's a reliable and cost-effective option for monitoring my blood glucose levels. The test strips are easy to use, although it took me a bit to get used to applying the blood drop on the side of the strip rather than the top or bottom, as it was with my last meter. Once I got the hang of it, the results were consistently accurate.

Overall this meter is fairly accurate. I've compared side by side results on 3 separate occasions to my normal meter and it was within +/-5 points on 2 occasions and was +9 on the 3rd. I feel like that is within a reasonable accuracy range. I mainly use this for times when I might be feeling off and want to check my number but don't want to possibly skew my averages on my main meter. This meter uses test strips that are a bit weird though. They accept the blood from the side rather than the end like every meter I have used in the past. It is fine once you figure it out but I wasted several strips trying to figure out where to put my finger. The instructions need to be more clear.
