These are even better in person. The texture is so nice, like a very soft but heavy linen. They are not shiny at all. They are matte. Great room darkening. They came out of the bag with virtually no wrinkles. I've purchased a lot of curtains over the years, and have been disappointed quite a few times. (wrong color, feels cheap, shiny, etc.) but not these. I'm very happy and I think you will be too.

These have a nice linen type texture, unlike other blackout curtains I've had before that were more sort of a smooth almost shiny texture which was cheaper looking. This however can be an issue if you get blue ones, because they may look a bit like denim jeans material. I got the grey color and they're just the color I was expecting, a medium grey. These seem to block out the light quite well although if you go up close to them you can see little specs of sunlight through them. I think at night, they will be fine though. These are actually a bit lighter weight than I was expecting, I would say they are medium-heavy, but not heavy weight. They came quite wrinkled as you may be able to see in my picture. I did not wash them but did use a my iron and steam on them while they were hanging, which did help get rid of most of the wrinkles nicely. Functional and attractive blackout curtains for a good price. I have no complaints!

I hung these curtains and they didn't look right. I checked here for the color. It was wrong. I received dark grey but not the one I purchased. Received looks like well worn jeans. While the purchased look brand new jeans. Curtains seem ok. nice weight and feel. UPDATE I wrote this review before contacting seller. They are great. They worked with me and got it straightened out.

When the sun rises I automatically wake up but thankfully these drapes cover my windows wonderfully. Had other ones on that were too long and draped over the heater vents so I bought these in 63" and they are perfect! Strongly recommend these if you're light sensitive or want to block out the sun or the cold. Great drapes!
