I was very surprised when I put these curtains up, at just how much they could darken the room. They are not very thick and heavy as are most room darkening curtains. They have a nice feel to the fabric and good color saturation. I would buy these curtains again.

I wouldn't exactly say these are blackout, but they do significantly reduce the light. I can easily tell when it's daylight if I'm awake, but the morning sun doesn't wake me up anymore. They also help keep the heat from the sun from coming in. But I read the reviews before purchasing and knew they weren't proper blackout curtains, so I am not disappointed and these fit my needs very well. They are nice curtains. (I chose a darker color--I imagine the lighter colored ones block less light) ... show more

I bought these curtains in Tan for our dinosaur-themed kids room. They came out of the package looking great and not wrinkled at all. I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness! They are not complete black-out curtains but they do keep out most of the light. Great product for the price!!
