I admit, I waited a couple of days before attempting the daunting task of putting this cover on our ancient LAZ Y BOY recliner. The measurements worked with those on the product listing and the color looked good onscreen— but you know how misleading that can be. This morning my 82-year-old husband and I watched a 2-minute Youtube video to find out how to pop the back of the recliner off and dress it in these new duds. I started with the seat, moved to the armrests, then did the back. We had to pull back part of the arms covers to reset the back on the chair, but it wasn't a big deal. Honestly, I don't think we needed to take the back off... The fit is perfect. The color is exactly what I hoped for. The result is amazing. I've reviewed a lot of products on Amazon but never put up photos before. In this case, the photos are the main event. The cover is stretchy in just the right way, the lever hole in the right arm cover is in just the right spot, and the fit is fabulous. The grid pattern makes it simple to put on straight. One hint, because I know some folks noted confusion in their reviews: The CENTER OF BACK tag might begin at the top of the back but it ends up at the center of the back at floor level. We put the top on by treating it like a pillowcase: turn it inside out, grasp the two corners of the top (nicely rounded seams to make it obvious) and while I held the two corners at the top of the recliner back my husband slip the tube-like cover down from top to bottom (going from inside out to right side up.) We connected the stretchy straps from the seat cover to the straps from the top, running them around the bottom floor connections on either side, using small plastic electrical ties. GREAT cover. Took less than 10 minutes. Including watching the video.

I was initially very pleased when I got this cover. There could be better instructions such as what to do with the various elastic bands. Anyway I eventually got it on the recliner. It looked quite nice even though it did not cover all of back side of the recliner. It is very soft and comfortable to sit on. However once I washed it, I could barely get the back section on. There are gaps on the sides of the back of the back section where the recliner shows thru. This is in addition to the back of the back section only covering half way down. Also I wish the elastic wasn't white. The white edge calls attention to the gaps in coverage

This is the second exact cover I’ve bought for this chair in 3 years. We bought the first one 3 years ago because we had a new kitten and wanted to protect our expensive Lazy Boy recliner. It’s been heavily used by toddlers, said cat, a dog and reclining adults and just now I had decided I needed a replacement because the cat recently poked a couple of holes in it. I had started to remove the first to put on the second, then decided to just put the new one on right over the old one. It’s so stretchy and easy to put on, it worked! So now we have double protection. It doesn’t interfere in the least with the operation of the chair, even with two on. It feels like soft, plush corduroy. Highly recommend!

We bought 2 used recliners for our remodeled sunroom recently. They were in perfect condition, looked like they were never used. We have 2 dogs and our furniture looks worse in a week. So to make these last we decided to cover them. These took about 8 minutes per chair to put on and it wasnt a struggle. The instructions are a bit vague but the tags saying which piece each onenis helped greatly. Also, remember the arm piece with a slit is for the right side. I think because it's in 4 pieces it fits perfectly and STAYS put! We were shocked that after sitting in our chairs repeatedly off and on, reclining, closing etc for 5 days the covers look exactly like they did when we put them on. No creeping, shifting, untucking, sagging. They look amazing on our chairs! The fabric is soft and very comfortable. For reference our chairs are smaller than today's average recliner. They aren't as small as what was once called a woman's or grandma recliner. They don't have the big over stuffed headrest and arms. And the fabric has texture. Sort of a soft tweed upholstery. We were undecided on color and suddenly the dark gray was available for around $17 so that made our decision. We figured if we liked them enough in 6 months or so we'd get a 2nd set for rotating different seasons. I highly recommend these for the value, ease of use and good looks.

I love em but they need ties on the arms like the other pieces. They slip. I'm gonna sew some on. I will buy them in other colors too. It was a pleather layboy with cracks in it and now looks Perfect. Looks good up and down. I tied the ties from the other pieces on to something under the chair. Nothing moves but the arms. But that's not bad cause its black under it but the seam is white. I recommend. Couch covers are the same brand. Pillow covers are from Amazon. Love them all. Didn't have money for couches so covered my good ones but a cover was coming off and moved into a house with stained carpeting so bought rugs and keep cleaning em. Carpets next!!! Covers saved me Thousands of dollars.

This brand is THE BEST slipcovers on Amazon. I have tried several others and none fit as well or look as great. My recliner chair was peeling the “plether” but still functioned well. I decided to get a new cover after trying several other ones that were hard to fit and didn’t hold up well. The fabric is really stretchy but retains its shape beautifully. It’s super soft and great quality. Colors are great too. I also bought one for my beach futon and made it look like new. Easy to put on, machine washable, durable and so comfortable. When you get out of the chair the shape holds and looks like you never sat in it at all. Check out the chair pictures to see the results.
