Couldn’t be happier! Wanted a pair of Redwing Iron Rangers but aside from the cost and wear-in period, it wasn’t an option. I saw these for $75 and decided to try out. I bought these as a cheaper alternative to Red Wing Iron Rangers, they look the part but the leather is definitely much thinner. The two things that are bothering me is that the insole isn’t removable which has too much arch support for my foot and if I don’t wear my insoles with these boots, they are too big/wide. So I have to wear my insoles but then there is too much support and if I don’t my feet aren’t wide enough to keep the boot comfortable. Catch 22 I guess ... show more

The boots are comfortable, look good, and fit well. Nice and light too. I was right to order half a size down. Not sure how well they will wear but I’ll have to wait and see My biggest complaint though is that the boots arrived scratched up and in a replacement box. I opted to buy them new so seeing them arrive scratched and in an Amazon box rather than the original one raises some suspicious about whether or not I was sent used boots ... show more

I have two pairs of synthetic material boots from Eastland that I love, so these were a must. Probably not a work boot, but I wear them casually almost daily and the quality holds up well with about 2 miles of walking a day. I get constant compliments on the look, they are comfortable, the leather is not too thick so I can wear it year round in AZ. I use an insole with all my boots, otherwise a half size smaller might be necessary. I also have skinny bony feet and these would be better for a wider type foot. Regardless, it's my favorite pair to wear now with business casual or jeans. I got the brown ones and I'm going to buy the black ones as soon as I can afford it. I should also say that the leather was easy to condition to get them to a slightly darker brown like I prefer. The out of the box lighter brown looked great too, I just prefer a darker coffee color. ... show more

Made in china, disregard what it says about Maine. Paper thin leather was already coming loose from the soles out of the box. Inner “leather” is even thiner synthetic. Insoles don’t take up the full footbed and glued into the sole to hold a cheap metal shank.

I would say a lot of things if they were Redwings and i had expended 400 bucks on them..... but.... for the pricetag this boots have.... WHAT CAN I SAY???..... they look AMAZING, they fit unbelievably good (they wont have to be Broken) and the build quality is just fine, as any cemented sole shoe could be..... I will be happy if they endure one year of wearing... if they are a mess by then, i will buy another pair.... the pricetag doesnt prevent me from doing it, and meanwhile, i will be enjoying a pair of head turning boots that look like iron rangers. I just want fashionable boots, so i wont take them to my farm to work with them.... Im Happy with this buy... VERY HAPPY!..... Go ahead!.... buy a pair!. ... show more

Would rate 3.5/5 if possible. Decent fit, comfort, etc.... The finish work is pretty ho-hum, the pull tab on the back came loose 4th time wearing, the leather quality is average, and the speed laces, etc.... have a lower quality feel. There were some sewing flubs also here and there. Nice boots fashion wise, and decent if bought at a discount, but a very average shoe. ... show more
