I understand the intent is to put a duvet cover on this but it’s beautiful as is so I decided not to cover it. It’s very soft and comfortable on the skin. It is thick so if you run warm it may not be for you. Even as a decorative blanket it’s excellent. Gives sort of a comfy hotel vibe which is nice. This comforter is all the good things. It's super soft, not too hot but heavy enough, easy to wash, fluffy and cozy. I searched everywhere and had many disappointments, but this one is great. We don't use a flat sheet...I know...it's criminal not to. But my husband would constantly shuffle in it until it's on the floor every night. After realizing we'll never wake up with the sheet covering us, I started buying all white comforters so that we can wash it as much as we'd wash our sheets and be able to bleach it. That's why I wanted to try this one. So my comforters have to be as soft as a bed sheet. This one is just right. I cut the little tabs off that you can use if you're putting it inside a duvet and it looks like a luxe hotel bed in my room. Love it! ... show more
