Got these sheets because of the supposed thread count and while they are, absolutely, soft, lovely in color and fit my bed and mattress pad well, they are also incredibly warm to sleep under, as they're basically a tightly woven sheet of plastic. That said, that's my fault for not reviewing closer, I searched for cotton, and saw 1800 count and grabbed them when I saw there was a color that matched my quilt set. I ordered the green and thought it would be more evergreen in color. It was actually more like grass colored green, more on the yellow side. Finding good quality sheets, with deep pockets, that do not cost a ton is surprisingly difficult. I have a 14 inch mattress, with an additional 4 inches of padding on top. And I get so annoyed having to fix my fitted sheet all the time. These have solved that! I washed them when I got them with no issues, and my cats immediately took to them! (They don’t normally lay on the bed at all). Considering the price, I’m not expecting them to hold up forever. But I love them so much, I’ll probably order a back up set just in case. I ordered these sheets because the cover sheet is 21" deep and I have a 4" memory foam topper. The 22" is plenty deep enough however the sheet itself isn't wide enough to tuck the sides under the mattress. It's not a big deal I put the sheet under the cover sheet and was able to tuck it all the way around. They feel really soft and for the price I'm happy 😊 ... show more
