Bought two of these, one to keep, and one to have for relatives. Used them on 2 trips, and they worked fab for both general totes and for waterproof features. I ordered the backpack-style size for our use needs, and highly recommend. They fold down small if not filled, and the backpack straps make them ideal for day adventures. Everything was bone dry except for the highlighted outside pocket where you're warned it's not sealed 100%. Items there sometimes got lightly damp, but since they warn you, we had nothing damaged. You can fit SO much in the backpack style size, but we found we usually had them half-full and were so easy to carry around during the day. I'm glad I did my research, read tons of reviews, and chose these. The positive reviews are definitely warranted. Our activities included kayaking, beach-side, caught in the rain, general traveling during the day. Only once was one caught in the water, and it was brief but also stayed bone-dry inside. It laid super-flat for me to pack in my carry on bag. It also came in stellar when I bought too many souvenirs and turned it into a carry-on when I checked my suitcase. Ordered gray and black, and both have come out looking new after 2 modest-intensity trips. For size-wise, they fold down beautifully so they only take up as much physical space as you pack them. And backpack style could hold more than we ever could have packed!!

I bought two of these dry bags for my boyfriend and me before our very first paddle boarding trip because I wanted to be prepared. After spending several hours on the water, I can confidently say this was one of the smartest purchases we made. A lot of people assume that if you don’t fall off your board, your belongings will stay dry anyway. That’s NOT true. HEAR ME OUT! Every time you switch sides while paddling, water drips from the paddle onto the board. And over your stuff that is on the front of the board! Everything sitting on the deck gets wet. Our boards were constantly covered with water, but everything inside these bags stayed completely dry. The 10L size is surprisingly spacious. Ours easily held two phones, a camera, sunscreen, drinking water, and even a spare T-shirt with room to spare. I unintentionally chose the clear version, since it was the only one that delivered next day, and I’m glad I did. It makes finding items much faster instead of digging through a dark bag. PRO TIP: don’t squeeze every bit of air out before sealing it. Leave a little air inside, and if the bag ever ends up in the water, it floats like a buoy, making it much easier to retrieve. Another accessory I’d recommend is a short coiled tether or rope with a carabiner. It lets you pull the bag closer without constantly untying it from the board, which is much more convenient while you’re on the water. The construction feels durable, the roll-top closure seals securely, and I never had concerns about water getting inside. We even dropped the bags in the water to test them out. It floated, everything stayed secure and dry. No problem. Also, don’t be afraid when it gets too hot. We were paddling in 100 degree weather, in afternoon, the heat is no problem for those bags. This is one of those products that doesn’t seem essential until you actually spend time on the water. After using it, I wouldn’t go paddle boarding without one again. It is a must have!

I bought this bag for a solo travel expedition along the coast of Italy. I love to swim, but I wasn't comfortable with the idea of leaving my belongings abandoned on the beachfront. I was looking for something that was durable, affordable and didn't take up much space. This dry bag checked all my boxes. I brought it into the ocean with me and absolutely no water got into my bag. This bag is not advertised to be "water proof," but it works absolutely perfectly. I put my ulta-valuables (phone and money) into a small, secondary case within the dry bag, but my clothes, shoes, and towel stayed perfectly dry even without a second layer of protection. While the dry bag certainly isn't compact, it packs down nicely. I was traveling with only a backpack and was able to fit my dry bag plus all my other clothes, shoes, toiletries, etc. no problem. As far as price goes, this dry bag is pretty unbeatable. One thing to note is that I bought a 10 liter bag and it came with the backpack straps and not the cross body strap as pictured. It didn't bother me (in fact I might actually prefer it) but it's something to note. I also never found the waterproof case that it's supposed to come with, but I was packing in a rush so its possible I just lost it. Either way, for 20 bucks this bag is well worth the money. All in all, this bag is a must-have for solo travelers. I can't recommend it enough!

This bag is a great option for the beach and water activities. I took it on vacation and felt confident my phone and belongings would stay dry. I have previously had a phone damaged that was in a regular backpack in the rain, so I was happy for this option. The only inconvenience is that it’s a little hard to find your stuff with the tubular shape, but the water protection outweighs this. Lightweight, easy to carry, easy to clean.

Great quality material! Very well made. Love that it came with a bonus waterproof cellphone holder with strap. I’m very impressed with the quality for the price. Will take it out when I’m in the kayak next and update if it does not do its job. I would be very surprised if it did not keep things dry.
