  • Great Dry Bag, Quality, Value, Functional: Recommended!
Size: 55L Color: Blue
I bought two of these bags, one large one (55L) and one slightly smaller (40L) because they looked durable and useful size for my needs. I was on the fence because I wasn't sure I needed to spend quite so much to have the extra space they afforded, but when I saw the quality, I was happy to have the product at the price I paid. This is good material, kind of soft-rubbery, not the hard, rigid rubber/plastic like some other bags. I used this bag on a mountain wilderness horseback camping trip, hoping to keep my clothes and sleeping gear dry. They both WORKED AMAZING! I put my large modular sleeping bag and pillow and large sleeping bag liner in the 55L, was able to kneel on it to get it as small as possible, rolled the top down, and the entire package stayed very flat, as if vacuum packed for the entire time. The 40L one I had jam-packed with as many clothes as I could fit. I also knelt on this one to make it as small as possible and the "vacuum pack" stayed the entire time as well. I felt that was very impressive, since the top just rolls down and buckles. (I did not expect my bags to ever be submerged on this trip, so I had no reservations about creating negative air pressure inside the bag. I'm not sure I'd do that on a canoe or kayak trip, but... they are high quality, so maybe it would work. I needed the bags to fit in or on a mule's saddle pack.) The bags seemed fairly rugged/durable. I plan to keep them out of direct sunlight as much as possible, just to prolong their usability. I didn't need the shoulder straps that allow you to wear it like a backpack. I worked the bags pretty hard and the straps are still attached, but they do seem to be the weakest point. I'd prefer it if they just had one single reinforced hand grip. All bags that are made of similar materials stink something horrible when they are opened, and these were no exception. HOWEVER, I rinsed the inside with 1 cup of white vinegar and let it sit for a while, shaking it up intermittently, and when I rinsed it out with fresh water and let it dry the smell was completely gone. Other campers with other bags had a very difficult time getting rid of the smell. All in all, I think the bag is very well made, and seals EXTREMELY well. I highly recommend this product to anyone needing a high quality large bag to keep items dry. I also think these bags will last me a long time. ... show more

  • For the price, this was a superior product
Size: 55L Color: Orange
I packed a TON of stuff in here for a 2 day kayak: clothes, tent, toiletries, and other various camp items. It is very large and held all my stuff easily. I was in a rental kayak which got some water in the bottom and this kept my stuff dry. Material is thick and not flimsy and the buckle is nice and sturdy. Highly recommend for the price point. Have used it only the one time so will have to wait on durability. ... show more

  • Great bag for camping/backing but.....
Size: 20L Color: Forest Green
.... not for haul your gear/cloths around, like you probably thought, but as a multipurpose bag. Don't get me wrong it is a great bag for that too but thats not why I bought it its more of a tool. I mainly bought it as a bear bag since is waterproof it good at blocking smells for bears smellproff for humans and when its not being used as a bear bag it can have several others purposes like transporting water, if it meant to keep water out it will also keep water in. Its also airtight so in an emergency it also a life preserver. Boat flips over? While your keeping yourself afloat scoop air in the bag and roll the opening 3-4 time tightly then clip and you got self-made flotation device or if anybody needs one fill it with air tire 550 paracord (or rope) with a with a weight attached so you can get the distance you need and sling it to them an pull them ashore. Back to the smell proff, if your in a place where you have to pack out your own trash and "waste" you can have one as a trash can just line it with a trash bag and the other you can put your "waste" bags in and I recommend lining it too even though the "waste" is already in it own bag and it will keep the smell in and the flies away. Plus, the inside of the bags are easily washable and if you get 3 different colors and or 3 different sizes it be easy to remember what is what. Thats why the bag is more of a survival tool for when I'm in the wilderness. I have no complaints over the bag, the straps supports are nice and strong, it very durable and versatile as I mentioned prior so I highly recommend adding one of these bags to you camping gear and/or your survival/bug-out bag or it could be your bug-out bag depending on the size you get. Earth Pak should pay me for doing a commercial lol 😆 ... show more

  • Good Bag but needs inside pockets
Size: 30L Color: Forest Green
I took this waterproof bag with me on my last trip to Hawaii, and it performed perfectly on the beach! It kept everything dry and felt really well-made, with plenty of space for everything I needed. Whether it was towels, sunscreen, or snacks, it fit a lot more than I expected. The only thing I wish it had were smaller pockets inside for things like keys or sunglasses, so I wouldn’t have to dig through the entire bag to find them. But overall, it’s a great bag and did exactly what I needed it to do! If you can live with digging in your bag for little things then it will be good for you. ... show more
