Love the look once they are on. But I find these very difficult to put on, and extremely frustrating! I have long hair. These earrings --- 1. Get tangled up in my hair! 2. Flip my hair back: the earrings often fall out! 3. Sometimes they hurt my ears because when I flip my hair back, and they get tangled up, it pull on my piercing hole. Engineering design - BIG FAIL. Reminds me of SNAFU - Situation normal - all fouled up! There is -- 1. How the designer envisioned it. 2. How manufacturing made it. (needs more weight at the bottom so these don't flip out so easily!) 3. How buyer is - long or short neck, long or short hair, or hair up, maybe age of wearer 4. And how practical these are to wear. They are pretty for a photo, but not practical to wear. I felt like I was checking these every 5-10 minutes to make sure one or both wasn't caught in my hair or about to pull out - again. If you buy these - plan to lose one or both pretty fast.

These earrings are very lightweight and so comfortable, you may forget you have them on. I ordered some for gifts because they are a bit different and well made. They are a little intricate to get on and easier to get off if you take them off without looking in a mirror!
