I love these ear phones. Great for shooting and listening to music at the same time!

  • Feedback
Color: Black-electronic-bluetooth 5.4-gel Pad
Very loud screechy feedback can be heard when you take them off while they are still on. Other than that, decent audio quality and comfort.

  • Gives Walker a competitor
Color: Green-electronic-bluetooth 5.4-gel Pad
TLDR: equal to my Walkers, definite upgrade to budget Caldwells with good noise reduction, good audio pick-up, and easy Bluetooth connection. Got these out to the range and from 9mm to .308 with some pistol 5.56 thrown in, the Earmor performed well. For comparison at the range, I also grabbed some old Caldwells, Walkers, and knock-off Peltors. Noise reduction between them all was very similar for me (but I've already got damaged hearing). Audio pick up from the external mics starts to separate the devices - Caldwell is okay but gets staticky at higher volumes, the Walkers are prone to squealing at higher volumes and get feedback when other devices are nearby. The Earmor set is plenty loud at lower settings and at full volume, there was some white noise but voice clarity was still good. The Earmoor was on par with the Walkers for determining the direction of external noise. The Earmor is the only set with Bluetooth in this test and that is a nice feature, but it comes with the loss of connection for my comms gear so for me, these are going to be used primarily at the range. In all these comparisons, the not-Peltors perform far better but they cost at least 100 bucks more. For weight and comfort, the Caldwells are the lightest but become uncomfortable more quickly. Walkers and Earmor are about the same weight, and with the gel cups, almost identical in comfort. The other set is heavier but are more robust in construction and have added features that boost the weight while still being quite comfortable. Build quality - Earmor has a solid feel that I expect will last a good long time. When using earpro at the range, it isn't like they are being heavily abused and the Caldwells, a true budget option, have been in use for about 10 years. One thing to note is that there is not exterior indication that the headset is powered on, so make sure you listen for the "powering off" message before you pack these up if you want to save your batteries. In the end, the Earmor M300T is a good set of electronic ear protection. I am a huge fan of electronic ear pro as it allows for easy communication when at the range or out LARPing and this increases safety through situational awareness whether you are by yourself or with others. If you are choosing between these and Walkers or Howards, I think I'd go with whoever has the best sale at the moment. They are all so similar and about the same price point, and I think you'll be happy either way. ... show more

  • Good set of active noise cancelling ear protection
Color: Black-electronic-bluetooth 5.4-gel Pad
Comfortable set of ear protection, light weight, ear pads good, tension good and headband all good enough to wear for hours. Uses 2 AAA batteries, no idea of the battery lifetime yet. Can be used turned off as passive hearing protection which seems more than adequate, they advertise 22db. Plenty for outdoor activity, I have not used them indoor yet. I find the lowest volume setting to be higher than I expected, not "loud" but the lowest setting is louder than a whisper. The Bluetooth paired up without any issue, the audio in is great and I am told that my audio is good on phone calls. I tried to find a difference between the 3 different "pick up modes" and there is a difference, but not one that I can explain. All of them cut out loud noises far better than my old active ear muffs of a different manufacture. I do find that the "ambient mode" will hiss at about 1/3 volume and higher, similar to others that I have used. Have not noticed wind noise problems so far. They fold down easily. Two patches are on the headband attached by hook and loop. One of those patches is a grey rectangle that seems suitable to tag with a marker. ... show more

  • Chemical smell
Color: Green-electronic-bluetooth 5.4-gel Pad
They work great but they have a terrible chemical smell that won't go away!! Doesn't block out shot gun blasts enough you have to wear earplug which seems silly.

  • Over performance!!
Color: Black-electronic-bluetooth 5.4-gel Pad
These ear protectors blew me away!!! First, they use gel pads! This makes them very comfortable! Well as comfy as ear protectors can be. There’s very high clamp pressure to keep these sealed. I will suggest you wear ear plugs with these cans. The noise cancellation is very good! These are suitable for shooting but I would recommend using additional ear plugs. They have great battery life! They also have multiple NC settings. The pass through audio is very robotic and tinny. But still very usable. The true star of this show is the SOUND QUALITY when listening to music!! These are shockingly good Bluetooth headphones! Easy to pair. Volume has to be controlled by you phone but I was floored when I heard these!! This is a strong plastic smell. I’m sure it will dissipate overtime. All these factors combined make this an excellent value! ... show more

  • AA batteries, a bit on the small side but good
Color: Green-electronic-bluetooth 5.4-gel Pad
I've got a big ole head, and these work, but they're tight. I probably won't wear them over a hat like I normally do. I wish the ear cups could slide a bit, that would make them more versatile, but I can make them fit. My other gripe is the batteries, AA batteries are just outdated, for lack of a better word. They do work, but I'd prefer rechargeable. All that said they're a decent set of shooting headphones. Bluetooth works well, control is fairly intuitive once you play with them for a bit, and I like the volume control and voice feedback. Comfy ear cups, OK deal ($60 as of reviewing, a bit high IMO), not a lot of gripes. ... show more
