Comfortable Upgrade Over Stock Ear Pads

A much needed improvement over the stock ear pads. I run on the hot side due to being on the heavier side, and I had issues with a lot of sweat buildup with the original AirPods Max ear pads. Although these ear pads have not fully eliminated the heat, I do not notice myself sweating as much as I did with the originals. Additionally, when I do sweat, it is not as irritating or uncomfortable as it was with the stock ear pads. The ear pads also look great, and I have not had any issues with ANC or Transparency mode. I would recommend these to anybody dealing with irritation issues with the original Apple ear pads.

Great for AirPods Pro Max!

Got these awhile back and I they haven’t given up on me after extended use at the gym. It doesn’t get dirty at all, and if it does it’s as easy as wiping it down with a wet wipe! They are definitely affordable and work amazingly. They were easy to put onto the headphones as well and they fit like a glove. Would 100% recommend!

Great for the Gym

I was worried i would not like them as much as the stock ones from Apple, as soon as i touched them I knew i was wrong. These are so nice and smooth, they do not stick to you or even pull your long hair, and they make the Air Pod Max a perfect gym companion. They felt cool to the touch when first worn too, and that was nice. Very comfortable. I just did a quick 2 mile run with them, they held up great and did not absorb the sweat like the stock ones do. They are so nice I honestly think I would use them as daily if I did not get them for gym use. 5 stars will buy more. Easy to clean and wipe down after the gym as well. Great product, don not hesitate if you are looking for something to make your Air Pod Max sport friendly.

Excellent replacement

Excellent replacement for my ear pads that came with the Apple. I am not making your complaint about the Apple ear pads as they were very comfortable and functional. They just wore out after over a year of use so I thought I would try these new ones to replace them and I am extremely happy with them. They are every bit as good and just as comfortable as the originals. I have no issues with them whatsoever. I actually use them at night just to keep it quiet for me and they are mostly comfortable to sleep with. They’re not designed for that but they work well and they are extremely quiet.

Fantastic Earpads For The Gym!

I don’t typically write reviews for products unless they really “blow me away”. These earpads have. I’ve noticed a significantly reduced amount of condensation in the ear cups of my AirPods Max after a strenuous workout. The noise cancelling ability is as good, if not slightly better than the stock mesh ear pads. The protein leather coating repels all sweat, and after almost two weeks of ~5-6 hours of daily usage, there is *zero* smell/odor. Yes, they may make your ears a tad warmer than the stock mesh pads, but the reduction in condensation on and around the drivers makes it 100% worth it! I will be buying another pair of these!

Fit perfectly

These just arrived. I'm on my 3rd pair of cushions -- the first two pairs were Apple. I'm trying a switch to these. The Apple ones are some sort of cloth mesh, and they're drying out the skin around my ears. They absorb the oils, I think, and they've become discolored / gross. Plus, the skin underneath them is flaky, which itches and is also gross. Prior to the AirPods Max, my previous headsets used some sort of silicone ear pads, and I never had that problem. So I'm trying these to see if they stop drying me out. The fit is fine. These came black, and I'm disappointed with myself I didn't pick blue to match my headsets. And they don't seem to mag-lock in quite as securely, but it feels like it's secure enough. So far, they're fine. I'll update this review if I become disappointed.

Sadly I would not recommend : There is something special about the Apple cushions that delivers exquisite bass and clarity. This cushions muffles it or over protects it and doesn’t let the bass breathe properly. I tested it width a brand new AirPods Max 2, switching back and forth multiple times. I am sorry to say they aren’t up to par. They will make your AirPods Max sounds like a Sony mx whatever version you listen to. 😉 Apple knows why their cushions are $70 and for whatever reason not for sale on Amazon. Sucks I have to buy Apple brand only. But the experience matters.

They are OK, they are smaller than the ones that come with the AirPods. I didn’t notice any difference in sound which is good. They are also easy to wipe.
