I've used this ear cleaner a few times now on my beagle who has chronic ear infections, and it did seem to work pretty well at clearing out the gunk. It has almost no smell, which is good and bad (I like a little scent to freshen his stinky ears). If you have smell sensitivities, you should be ok with this cleaner. The tip is a little funny- super flexible & long, which is good if you need to bend it slightly on a squirming dog, but difficult to get the little tip cover back on with any surety. I don't put the tip in my dog's ear canal for hygienic reasons & to keep from hurting him. I actually try to avoid touching his ear with any cleaner implement, if I can help it- otherwise, I'm sterilizing it with alcohol after each use to keep from spreading the infection. Overall, the ingredients in the cleaner are simple and seem effective, so I will keep using this, along with my arsenal of other ear products I have for my boy!

We breed bulldogs and have found that his ear cleaner works very well. There is lots of it and it does not seem to irritate the dog's eyes. I would buy it again.

One of my fur-babies has continuous ear problems. She scratches and seems irritated most of the time. When I say I have tried everything, I really have, so trying this new item made perfect sense. I would say that it works better than most of the things I have tried. It is not harsh and seems to clean her ears very well. I use it daily and it doesn't seem to bother her for daily use. I have noticed less scratching than before (but sadly not completely eliminated). It is much more cost effective that some of the other things I have been using, and at least with my child seems effective. There is nothing in the ingredients that I am worried about, so I will keep using it. By my dog this would be highly recommended.

I am going to preface this review with a sentiment about the overall Vine program I've been a part of for nearly a year: most of the items are not worth the purchase. This program seems designed to supplement a company's Research & Design department, and focus groups. These seem to all be companies that don't exist outside of an Amazon presence, so for that alone, I am highly skeptical about such things in terms of customer service, repairs, replacements, or refunds. I find that there are a lot of items that are unavailable by the time I've used them long enough for a review; the companies don't seem to last longer than their supplies. I have literally thrown away somewhere around 40% of the products I've received, as they either failed, or were just insufficient, or generally crappy. With that said, I would implore people to approach any product with lots of Vine Customer reviews attached to it with caution, because these are the "iffy" products you probably want to avoid. Most of them can be found for a little more money, or even the same price point from another, more reputable, trust-worthy company (a company with an actual reputation at stake). So take this perception as you will. My review: NOT WORTH PURCHASE. I tried these in my own ear, after I still kept getting the head shaking, and I didn't have ANY wax or anything come out. Ear did not feel clean.

My puppies have been experiencing ear irritation after bath times, to the point they are whining and whimpering while trying to scratch a presumed itch they can't seem to reach. This ear cleaner is cheap and effective at reducing their irritation, where as long as I use it on them after each bath time, they don't experience that irritation at all in either ear anymore. When it comes to ear cleaners, I always check the ingredients. So many of them have ingredients that are not good for your dog. I like the ingredients, and my dogs don't mind me cleaning their ears with it. Win win. The swabs that come with it aren't any different than the ones you have at home, so nothing special there. But I rarely ever use swabs on their ears anyway, for fear they will move suddenly and I could hurt their inner ear. So I just squirt the solution on a cotton ball and clean their ears that way. This stuff works great! And the price is right too!

This ear cleaner comes with relatively clear instructions, and I appreciate the ingredient list. It has a mild and pleasant smell. It's fairly easy to use, but I don't know if it's much more effective than mere water at cleaning a dog's ears. I advise being prepared to wipe up a mess from the floor when using this, as it easily drops out. My dog seemed to be irritated by the treatment for the first ten minutes or so, but calmed down eventually. This isn't a bad value, and I think it might be worth trying for some, but I don't think I'd purchase again, myself. If using this for infection, I strongly suggest pairing it with the application of antibiotic ointment such as Animax, which has been extremely effective for our dog's outer ear infections.
