Having a February heatwave in Michigan. So decided to do this project 2 days ago. For years I've been wanting to paint faux windows and hinges on. For obvious reasons... How will it look?, having to measure & tape B4 paint, having to redo if you repaint door...it hasn't happened. Came across these and I am thrilled. Magnets seem strong and stay on when opening garage door. We'll see what happens with snow and wind. I'll update then. Figured out through trial and error, 😃 Brownish side goes down. I measured and made Mark on piece of paper as to margins, but mostly eyeballed. Comes with paper in between. Have 8 squares across, 4 magnets per square, so needed 32 and got 33. Not as shiny as I thought they would be. But still very happy.

The product came exactly as pictured in the listing. I got mine from the Amazon Warehouse saving a few dollars. I washed the garage door well and then went to town. I had no problems with any magnets. Everything went up pretty easy. If you are super picky like I am, it can be a bit rough getting things even. I do think the ease of placement depends on your garage door style though. Mine took a bit longer as you can see by the sun progression in the pictures. I used a small level in the middle of the door square indent and placed the square magnets around it making it quite even. This product definitely dresses up an otherwise boring door. In our case, it tied in the newly painted black shutters very nicely. Great, inexpensive product for a super fast curb appeal project. These are great. They transform the entire look of your home in five minutes. My only wish is that they came in single garage door packages as well as a double garage door packages as we have a three stall garage with a sundae and a double door.

I think it's overpriced for being plastic, I do like how the black accents the door. Easy to put on, it's just 2 little magnets. I didn't measure just eyeballed it putting it on. I did not use the window accents, I did put them on, but it made the door look cheap. Basically looked like a sticker on it. To bad the weren't a hard plastic, then I would of used them. They were also packed in a bag and some of the corners were bent. The sun probably would've bent them back. I would buy this product again, but without the fake windows

These were a great finishing touch for our garage door makeover. We had basic, common white metal garage doors, and after I recently painted our brick front white, I decided the garage doors needed a change to separate them. I painted them to look like wood, purchased the faux handles and brackets and then decided to get with faux windows. They were obviously super easy to install as they’re just rectangle magnets. I didn’t do the tape thing the instructions recommended to keep them perfectly even. I had to put these one 8 squares and I was not about to tape them all haha. I just eyeballed it, and they look fine. Once they were on, we were a little unsure at first if we liked the faux windows because after all, they aren’t real windows, and we didn’t want them to look cheap. From the street you honestly can’t tell, and they do look real, but from up close you can clearly tell they’re not real (in my opinion) - because duh, they’re not actually windows. Same thing with my wood-look paint job on the doors. From the street it really does look like wood, but up close you can clearly see it’s not - duh, because they’re not wood doors - they’re metal. So all in all, I’d totally recommend. Don’t purchase with the expectation that these will trick people into thinking these are real windows, but honestly, from a curb-appeal standpoint, they really do upgrade the look of the house, a cheap way to get a higher end look without looking cheap. They also go perfectly with the faux magnetic handles and hardware - those are a must-have with the purchase of the faux windows (in my opinion). My entire garage door makeover for both doors ended up costing me about $40 - worth every penny, especially when you compare what new doors would cost.
