I would give this bag 5 stars if it were a little bigger in the side pockets. I have Women's Jackson Ultima Fusion Freestyle skates size 7.5 wide with a Mark II blade and they just barely fit within the pockets. Other than that, this bag is a great buy. Cheaper than the Transpack bags plus this one comes with a bonus neoprene mat to provide an insulator between you and the cold ice rink bleachers. The center pocket is big enough to hold a small towel, skate guards, bottled water, mittens, and leg warmers without everything being crammed in there. Well functioning bag for its purpose. Designed pretty well. Fits my wife’s figure skates. It does not feel like a very strong and robust bag that will be around for many years to come. Love this bag for my figure skating equipment. I can fit my skates, guards, various comfort and safety equipment, and even 2-3 days worth of training clothes to always remain repaired. It's got a nice (what I use as a) phone pocket in the front for easy access while listening to your music on the ice. It fits both of my skates, all of my pads, and my helmet. there's a pocket inside for a cellphone or in my case mouth guards, plus another one up front. This is a great quality skate backpack. It fits my speed skates, helmet, knee pads and would easily fit a lightweight rain jacket if needed. It also has an outside pouch for a water bottle. I use it as my figure skate bag. I was worried that my big shoes would fit, but they fit well even with the soacker's head. It also has a large capacity to put all guards. Since the weight is distributed on both shoulders, it feels light. I'll use it well.
