Received this product and tried it immediately. It smells nice enough, glides on smoothly, and isn’t sticky or greasy after application. Right away, my skin felt calmer. I don't get ingrown hairs very often, but when I do they can be quite painful and irritating. It typically happens after going to the hair stylist who may closely shave the back of my neck. Note, I get ingrown hairs (ie. folliculitis) -- not more widespread pseudofolliculitis barbae that some men may get. Now as a preventative I'll use this balm right after a haircut when I get home and then for a couple days in the evening. For the last couple haircuts, no ingrown hairs!

Men need post-shave care too! Just got it a few days ago and it's an easy after shave application. Haven't had any issues with ingrown hairs and it offers a comforting soothing sensation regardless of where you choose to manscape. Getting more and more into skincare recently that seemed daunting at first, so I am very happy to add this easy and effective step to the routine.

I recently got this Smooth Slate Ingrown Relief Serum by EADEM. The claims on the box are that it soothes painful, itchy bumps, releases trapped ingrown hairs and slows hair growth. It also exfoliates and softens the skin though does not claim to prevent ingrown hairs. After a few times using the serum, I have found it indeed does moisturize but suspect it will take a number of uses before I will see definitive improvement. So far, I believe the itchiness from ingrown hairs has lessened. I found the directions a bit confusing as they state to apply one swipe to clean, dry skin in the P.M., 24 hours after waxing or shaving, three times per week. I am unsure if this means the serum should not be applied until 24 hours have passed from shaving, it is just less effective if used immediately or use it right away and then once every 24 hours for the following three days? I applied it directly after shaving and drying. The main ingredients are lactic and mandelic acid, azelaic acid, yellow daffodil bulb, and allantoin and glycerin. There are many other natural ingredients such as shea butter, rice, orange, lavender, bergamot, and lime. There is a slight odor, but not unpleasant or overpowering and did not last very long. The way you apply the balm should allow this to last a very long time so even being a bit pricey it can be worthwhile for long-term irritation reduction.

So far so good! This Eadem Serum stick is provides relief from ingrown hairs post shaving and waxing and supposedly could slow down hair growth (yet to see that yet but I'm hopeful!!). I've never used anything like this before, and I've already noticed a difference on the ingrown hairs. I've tried it a handful of times now and it glides on extremely smoothly without leaving any sticky residue feeling on your skin. The scent is pretty neutral and not overpowering- good for any gender. I say it's worth trying!
