Description

The E3.70 auto spark plug is a high-performance ignition component designed for Ford Triton applications from 2004 to 2008. With a 16mm thread diameter, 0.860-inch reach, and taper seat, this spark plug delivers optimal performance in automotive engines. E3 Spark Plugs are engineered with DiamondFIRE technology, a patented electrode design featuring three legs securing the DiamondFIRE electrode to the shell. This design improves heat transfer and creates more turbulence within the cylinder, promoting a more complete combustion process. The DiamondFIRE side wire enhances power, reduces fuel consumption, and lowers hydrocarbon emissions, making it a reliable and eco- friendly choice for long-term use. Features a unique ground electrode and full-size center electrode, ensuring the spark plug operates efficiently for up to five years or 100,000 miles. With a fixed gap design that cannot be adjusted, the DiamondFIRE open design facilitates air gap discharges, creating an edge-to-edge spark path that replenishes the spark zone with a fresh fuel/air charge. Worked great on my 2005 F-150 fx4 5.4L. Better throttle response, smoother idling and quicker start ups. Now i don't have to about breaking plugs with the stronger design over stock. When i got my truck someone had already changed the motorcraft plugs to autolite plugs. But my truck felt sluggish like it was stopped up or now getting a good burn. Really like these plugs, they are a one piece unit that will not break off into the heads on these 5.4L Triton engines. We replaced the factory plugs with these and a set of Bravex coil packs, and the truck runs so much better now. I would recommend these plugs to anyone over the pricy Autolite, Champion, or Motorcraft. ... show more

These spark plugs are in terrible shape shape after just a couple of thousand miles. Started having rough idle, loss of power, and misfires. All of them are corroded. One lost (burned out?) the central electrode. Going back to use OEM spark plugs on my F-150

I don't know should this one star should be for Amazon or E3sparkplugs?? Amazon fit engine showed they would fit my 2012 ford expedition (5.4L). I bought them, They don't fit. Amazon should modify their fit engine on their website with sensitive equipment to determine the fitness of certain stuff on certain model. I should have contacted E3 spark plugs technical support before making the purchase. I don't know how to ship them back, they will cost me almost double the price. Update; Thanks Amazon for refunding me. I would give it 5 stars, amazon was so cooperative. ... show more

Had a problem with yerking on low rpm. Replace plugs with E3's and my truck is running great and smooth again. Only drawback is that plugs needs a different size socket than the OE plugs, which makes it kinda difficult with this engine where you need a special plug removal socket to reach them. I received these plugs and was excited! I ordered them last year end of May 2012. I installed them near the end Jul 2013. When installing I realized I had one bent plug(serves me right for not checking the packages before storing). It would have cost me more to send back with the shipping and everything then to buy a new one(so I did order a new one). However, the plugs work AWESOME (yeeaaahh(say it like lil john))!     • Dreaded plug change 04 F150 5.4
Tackled the dreaded sparkplug change on my 04 F150 5.4. Had to use the Leslie Extraction tool for 6 of the 8. All came out successfully. Performance of tool was exactly as advertised. Installed E3 3.70 plugs. What a difference in the trucks performance. Smoother idle, noticablly better acceleration. Still evaluating MPG. Installation was a snap. Very,very pleased with purchase.
