The brush is very fine. This e.l.f. Ultra-Fine Eyeliner Brush takes some practice but with practice it can draw a very pretty wingtip. The brush is 6 " long and approximately 1/4 " diameter. Ease of application: Note: we have not previously used this fine of a tip. This brush seems to work in whatever eyeliner we try. Dab it in and go to work! The bristles are sturdy, but not too sturdy. There is plenty of give and you an taper off the end of your lines. When you're finished, the brush cleans up well. Value for money: So far it's held up well. We've used it several times over the past month and it still looks pretty much good as new. I think it's a great value. ... show more

    • Very Thin and a Bit Stiff for Precise Lines
Great tool in my kit! It's very thin and a bit stiff so it doesn't fan out without some pressure. I can get very close to the lash line, top or bottom, with a precise line. A really dark color near my lash makes them pop more and this works well. I can add another softer color near the darker fine line for a layered effect. I already have a thin wider brush that can create a great line quickly, especially when I use powder that I use for a bit softer lines. I also used this with a glitter powder and then smudged it up and into the crease and it looked awesome. I often use powders for liner and this works really well. Keep in mind, the quality and type of powder matters a lot on how well they work with a brush. ... show more

This ultra-fine eyeliner brush comes sealed and has an easy open, tear-off top. It has a clear tube brush protector on top to protect the bristles. The bristles come to a very fine point and feel smooth on the skin. The brush is long enough (at around 5.5”) to hold steadily in the hand for precise application. The shape of the bristles allows you to make a thin line that becomes even thinner towards the end, which makes it perfect for eyeliner. It seems to hold well onto various types of makeup. I think this would be a nice brush for face painting, applying small amounts of glitter, and maybe even for applying faux freckles.
