This brush works just as the description suggested. It allows me to apply lip color from lipstick tubes that no longer allow me to apply the lipstick from the tube alone. The brush works perfectly so that I can use all of the remaining lipstick and not feel like I am not getting the full benefit of my money. I did a lot of reading of reviews and took a chance on this one. I have typically purchased high end brushes like Laura Mercier makeup brushes. Years ago I came across e.l.f. brushes in an Old Navy and on a whim I bought their kabuki brush for applying a powder and love it. I needed an additional eyebrow powder brush at work as I commute by bike and though I apply makeup before I leave, because of the weather, I often touch up at work and finally broke down to start investing in a 2nd set of brushes. For me, this brush is the perfect combination of flexibility but hardness to keep bristles in place to do their job. I apply a small amount of brow powder on the brush and the brush has great control and precision. For the price, I'm impressed. I bought this small angled brush to use when I dye my aging/fading eyebrows. Used it just once so far and it enabled me to put the color on very precisely. Love that. Will see how long the bristles last, but at this price, it's definitely worth buying again, even if it's soon.
