  • Easy to handle
I like the size and diameter- makes it easy to apply and does not break while doing so.

  • Versatile
I use this with Acetone to clean up side walls in manicures. Stands up to the Acetone and easy to rinse and keep clean.

  • For The Price It Has It's Place
Not my favorite e.l.f brush, but I do use it for various tasks where a small narrow brush with an edge that doesn't have to be super precise might come in handy, especially for tasks I wouldn't dare risk damaging my discontinued HG NARS brushes on. Truthfully, nothing and I mean nothing compares to my NARS #38 Angled Eyeliner Brush which is the tightest, sharpest, most clean edged angle brush with perfect firmness and flexibility I've ever used. I have over 8 of them. Sadly, the new NARS Artisan Series Angled brush, #47 isn't quite as clean edged or as sharp, but it's still pretty good. 3 pics of the black brush are the e.l.f brush and the 2 pics with brown bristles and silver ferule are the NARS #38 (discontinued line). I've also included pics of some of my other angled eyeliner brushes with quick pros/cons for comparison. ***BRUSHES PICTURED TOGETHER*** NARS #38 (described above) Sigma E75 ( pretty good, sharp/tight edge, nice firm/flex ratio...maybe even tied for my #2 w/ NARS #47) NARS Artisan #47 (described above) Stila #10 (Firmest bristles of all my brushes, good tight edge, not angled enough though) By Terry Angled 2 (actually not bad, tight edged, fairly good firmness/flexibility ratio, too expensive) Coastal Scents Elite Liner BR-B-S18 (actually not too bad, nice firmness/softness ratio, not very angled cut, could have a sharper, tighter, edge, no worse than the MAC 266 really and very affordable) Sedona Lace EB23 (too soft/flexible, lacks a tight, sharp edge, poorly cut, really mediocre at best) MAC 266 ( bristles not cleanly cut , too flexible/soft, lacks all around sharpness, no narrow/clean edge...disappointed to be honest) ***NOT PICTURED*** Laura Mercier Angled Liner Brush ( just not the razor sharp/tight edge I prefer, but nicely cut, not a bad brush really, expensive) iT (Metal Jeweled End Set) Angled/Spool Brush (far too soft/flexible) New Techniques ( gave it away I disliked it's design so much) Coastal Scents Classic Angled Liner Med Natural BR-C-N18 ( Also gave away, Just no precision at all, poorly cut, no density or tightness, cheap) ***EDIT*** The e.l.f. brush fell apart after several cleanings. I am certain it was due to the cheap quality of this brush and not due to any extraneous factors. I use professional brush cleaner that is gentle enough to be used on even the most delicate Japanese makeup brushes, so I removed another star. I left 2 stars because these brushes are inexpensive and have a place in the scheme of things. ****UPDATE**** October, 2017 I repurchased 2 more of these brushes for miscellaneous stuff and they have both held up better than the first one that literally fell apart. While I still do not recommend these for gel or cream eyeliner they are useful for less precise applications, like adding powdered shadow to lower lashline, making a cut crease and other detail work of various kinds. I mainly use these for applying vaseline around my cuticles before applying polish though ... show more

  • My love has returned!
I only use this brush for my eyebrows. I had bought one a few years ago and after being too harsh with it while washing, I had to throw my old one away. I thought I could get by with the small brush that comes with the eyebrow powder, but the brush was way too harsh and dense (and made me look like a cartoon villain). I decided to try to find the same brush I used to have to look more like a normal human. After a few days of using the provided cheapy brush, I finally got the ELF brush and it felt soooo soft. The edge was super sharp but flexible, and not too dense to make me look surprised all the time. I looove! This is the best value eyebrow brush that isn't too thick, too dense, and gives a great sense of control. ... show more
