I bought 2 different colors and both are very pretty and shimmery. The pink color is very natural to my skin tones and even leaves a bit of color even after the gloss absorbs into the skin. The sheer color is extra sparkly and very pretty as well. My lips always feel very hydrated after using these. It’s not too sticky, the thickness and quality is perfect and it applies easily. Thought I would try this out. I’m a lip gloss freak. I have so many different kinds.I’m very picky with textures. I cannot stand sticky glosses. This one is not sticky at all. It glides on smooth- also it has a yummy watermelon scent that I absolutely love! It Has a wonderful quality. It lasts me a long time -so you get value for your money. It has a beautiful shine to it. I like it. For about 5-8 minutes, it’s lovely. I’m so torn. On the one hand- it is fantastic. Then I get Guy Diamond vibes. I do not like- staying power. It does not stay on long enough. What I like- nearly everything else. The color, the shine, the sparkle, the scent, the feel, the sticky, the sheerness with a hint of color. The scent or flavor is mint. Thank goodness! Mint! Clean. Crisp. Refreshing. It is faint too. The ELF lip oil is sort of a mix of Lancôme Fever Plumper and their Juicy Tubes but the staying power, wah, wah, wah. I slicked on a slickery amount and drove my daughter to school. Half way there, my lips were still glossy in appearance but it was mostly the sparkles. In the sun, without much oil- my lips looked glittery. Guy Diamond, glittery. A great look for someone else. The lips were still nicely hydrated and feeling great though. The texture is quite slick. More slick than stick. The applicator- the foot. It’s a big foot, it’s soft and plush and wide. My favorite part. The square packaging is nice too. I love the color. It’s beautiful. I like the sheerness and hint of color. I think this would be lovely on a face of any age without the glittering sparkles. I might be passing this to a fifth grader due to the heavy glitter factor. It wasn’t obvious till the oil was absorbed and the sparkle was what remained. In 10 minutes. The hydration aspect is fine while it’s on and lasts another hour or so and then I need to reapply. As a pageant competitor I have tried every lip oil on the market and nothing compares to this. The shimmer is incredibly fine and catches the light beautifully without looking glittery or chunky, the formula is completely non sticky, and it lasts hours per application. I use it alone, over liner, and over lipstick and it works every way. The minty scent is a nice touch and the price is almost offensive for how good it is. So I researched what these looked like before ordering because I wanted to see the different colors and just how shimmery they are. I was relieved to find the are not insanely shimmery but there is only one shade with a lot of pigment and that is Divine Wine. They are so easy to apply with a nice big doe foot. You can wear it buy itself but I put on lip liner first and then put on the shimmery oil and it was beautiful. It is not dark in any way even with multiple applications. It could be everyday or worn over a lipstick, you could wear it out as well. It reflects the light so well that you don't even see individual shimmers. Which made me really happy because I did not want glitter. They made my lips feel so soft! But you will need to reapply repeatedly. Oils just don't last on the lips long. I plan on buying a couple more, maybe the Princess Cut (I am a pinky nude junky) and the gold shimmer looks pretty too. I think these are great toppers or for every day if you are a minimalist. I love this! The color is a pretty pink and even when the gloss wears away, some glitter is left behind and will be visible if you put a different gloss on top (nice for layering). I don't think it is super sticky, I don't really notice it on my lips. I think it is definitely worth the money and that they release more colors.
