I open the package and thought “oh no, I shouldn’t have bought that dark of a color”. Boy was I wrong, the lip oil is thick and luxurious with a hint of light mocha. It is not dark brown, like the color of the bottle. It is more of a gloss and it has a hint of brown to it. I have Italian skin tones with dark brown hair and I think it looks great with my skin tone and hair color. It’s a very neutral color great for almost all skin tones. It comes in a small 3” tall, 3/4” square, glass bottle with a plastic top. The applicator brush is short, but it has a fat flat, soft design. This lip oil conditions your lips, and gives them a nice shine without being too shiny. It does have a hint of color, but once applied it is not as dark as the bottle. I got this on a black Friday sale and it was an excellent price. I really love it and I’m glad I went out of my comfort zone and ordered this “ELF money mauve” lip gloss. The name is not indicative of the color, and I question where they came up with money mauve, there is no mauve color to it, it should’ve been called honey brown :-) ... show more

So far I have very happy with my purchase. The big doe applicator feels soft on the lips and is cute. I was nervous about choosing Rose Envy as my color but it enhances my face perfectly and goes well with my skin tone 💕💖😳.
