ELF Glossy Lip Stains are a staining gloss. They go on thin and very comfortable. Some say they are long lasting. Others, not so much. For me, I find I’m in-between the two…. Here is my review! 😊 I love Elf glossy lip stains! I have all but Beige and Firey Red shades. That being said, my favorite is Power Mauve. It is my daily go-to. My other favorites are Spicy Sienna and Cutie Coral. Power Mauve has a hard time staining my lips… the darker shade, Berry Queen, stains easily. Coral Cutie leaves a stain, as well. Spicy Sienna sort of does. I don’t mind reapplying throughout the day. I barely finish liquid lipsticks. So, that’s a way I can finish them. Pinkies Up I like; however, only problem is it’s too light for me. Cinnamon Dreamz is my least favorite out of the batch due to the shade. I normally do not like brown on me. I feel like this shade looks horrible on me. Some say these are drying. I say it can be drying. I have used these everyday, all day since purchasing and have noticed two or three times my lips being dry. Once the product stains my lips, eventually it’s transferproof where I can apply a lip balm without the color messing up my lip balm. Overall, I think it’s worth it to try, at least one or two before making any assumptions or judgements on them. It’s $6. It’s not a bad price. Packaging can be overwhelming for some. It’s an adorable mini-size packaging that contains 1fl oz of product. To some with health problems, it can be hard to open (I’ve heard). I love these and would definitely repurchase Power Mauve! As for berry shade, I wish there was a reddish berry, rather than purple. I would love it even more. If they came out with more shades, I would love to try them.

Hey y’all this is the daughter on the prime account lol. First off the shade on the packaging and promotion pictures are completely different from what you get in the actual component. Pinkies up is extremely light than what I thought it was going to be. My lips are considerably darker than this shade, but I found that it didn’t even lighten them with the stain. And my lips are not even really dark… in my picture it stained my hand almost immediately so I don’t know what’s going on. Not to mention the actual component is smaller than a revlon bullet lipstick with most likely half the product that bullet lip sticks and other glosses and stains have for about the same or less price. When I first tried it, it was streaky and I had to dip in a couple of times and used both sides of the applicator to get an even coat over my lips. Especially because of how small it is, I don’t think it would last me long if I used it everyday. Very disappointing after hearing so many good reviews and hype online. Thankfully I don’t have to go through the trouble of shipping it back as a return. Amazon is just refunding me. I don’t think I will be trying more colors soon unless somehow I know for sure that they work with my skin tone. Even then there are other stains and tints on Amazon that have more product and perform better than elf. I’m a big fan of elf and have been for years…so I don’t know if I just had bad luck this time or what. I’ll have to find my palest friend ever to give it to. So hopefully someone will get some use out of it. I sure won’t.

I am so picky about lipstick and lipgloss. I was constantly searching for a perfect natural mauve color that complimented my skin tone, and this absolutely nailed it. I love how it’s a stain. It stays in place and never smears. The color stays on consistently for 8+ hours. It is buildable also! I like to put lip balm on top after it dries for a glossy look.

I have bought 5 different lip stain products in the past few months and THIS IS THE 1!!! My lips dont feel dried out, it doesnt wipe off or transfer and the color is true. Most that I have tried are NOTHING like the photos, but this 1 is perfect.
