I had read many reviews and decided on this one for my wood and vinyl floors. The battery doesn’t last long but after another charge I’m good to go. Pick’s up bird seed and dog hair easily. I love this easy pickup cleaner!

I love my Dyson, however, the main fuzzy attachment that I received does not have the smaller fuzzy roller at the back. Instead, it has two plastic wheels. It still functions but hair and gunk clog the wheels and they are already not rolling very well. When used against wood floors they make awful noises. Make sure when ordering you confirm it has the fuzzy rear roller in addition to the main/larger roller. I feel this will glide better on wood floors. ... show more

Love this wood floor cleaning tool! Battery life is well long enough to clean my 3150 sq ft house of solid wood floors! The switch is in a perfect place in the handle. And I love the way it is a trigger style. When I need to move a chair or small table I just set Fluffy down, no hunting for the switch to turn off. This vacume picks up dust and is so gentle on my wood floors. I honestly read all the reviews and so glad I looked past the bad reviews. I find it is well designed and easy to empty the canister, and to be able to clean the filters easy is fabulous. An excellent Vacuum for what it does! (Hardwood floors / surfaces) BUT... put this thing on Max power and it lasts like 4-5 min. The battery power on Normal is pretty bad as well, but still picks up fine particles of dust/dirt to perfection! So the pros outweigh the battery power cons. Overall? I like it! I will start with the only con... Battery life on max suction is fairly short. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat. This vaccum is a game changer for people with hard floors that have pets and have always struggled with daily shed control. Within 5 minutes or less in one pass I can clean our whole home without any fuss or mess. The charging station is great to have in the garage or possibly a closet/laundry room if you had a power source to plug in the base. If you are looking for a lightweight vacuum for mild jobs, this is perfect. But if you are looking for something powerful, of course, you should consider another type of product.

    • Battery will no longer hold a charge
Less than 1 year and the battery will not take a charge. For the price it should last at least 3 years. It is not a charger issue because when placed on the docking station the light comes on for charging.
