These definitely cannot compare to the recommended factory spark plugs. I tried to save money, but I ended up returning them.

    • Not great for a Subaru Forester
I installed these on a 2014 Subaru Forester. Immediately my vehicle's reliability faltered. I experienced multiple instances of the engine momentarily starting and then dying. After one or two attempts with the ignition, the engine would USUALLY start and run just fine, and I could drive without issue. However, the intermitting dying left me wondering if I would be stranded at some point. I even removed and reinstalled the spark plugs to see if maybe installation error could be the issue, but that didn't affect the problem I was having. I decided to replace the spark plugs with NKG plugs (which I believe are the OEM plugs for this particular vehicle), and so far I've not had issues. It is unfortunate that the NKG plugs are about twice the price of the Autolite plugs. Anyway - I wouldn't go so far as to say that these spark plugs are "junk" or "defective", but I can say that they did not work well on my Subaru and switching to the NKG plugs was necessary to maintain a reliable vehicle. ... show more

Bought 4 of these. The advertised gap is 35 thousandths but I measured 45, 47, 48, and 49. Needless to say these are not actually pre gapped.
