First off my truck looks great with this 2.5” leveling kit, 2020 Ranger XLT FX4 (custom ordered). I do however believe the 2” kit would have been a better choice overall, especially since this is my daily driver. Here’s the nuts and bolts—I’m very handy working on vehicles but this was definitely something I would have paid to have installed (I got sucked in with the YouTube videos saying it was easy). Unless you are a mechanic with lots of experience this takes two people to install. It took me approximately 9-10 hours for the complete install, with my wife helping me at various times when I needed the extra help. The axles will come out of place when removing and reinstalling the strut, so expect this. Trying to line up and slide the axles back in place was a bit of a challenge, but once lined up they did slide right back in place. I drove it for two weeks then had the front end aligned, it’s as close to factory specs as can be, but I am watched the tread wear on my tires before buying new ones-just want to make sure. I did have to adjust the headlights a little bit, which is very easy to do. Overall I did get 2.5” of lift in the front. The front end seems a little stiffer and that’s because there’s slight tension on the struts now. Not sure what it will look like when I hook up the boat, might sage the backend to much 🤷🏻♂️ maybe add air bags in the future. Overall very satisfied! 👍🏼

Little tricky on install, just follow instructions and have patience. Took us just under 2 hours to install both!

If you are just leveling your truck get the 2" ones, 2.5 makes the front end sit 3/8" higher than the rear on an FX4 package 4x4 model.

Only issue was the install. I haven't tried any of the other designs, but this design was a little difficult to line up the holes to get the bolts in. But not impossible.
