First off my truck looks great with this 2.5” leveling kit, 2020 Ranger XLT FX4 (custom ordered). I do however believe the 2” kit would have been a better choice overall, especially since this is my daily driver. Here’s the nuts and bolts—I’m very handy working on vehicles but this was definitely something I would have paid to have installed (I got sucked in with the YouTube videos saying it was easy). Unless you are a mechanic with lots of experience this takes two people to install. It took me approximately 9-10 hours for the complete install, with my wife helping me at various times when I needed the extra help. The axles will come out of place when removing and reinstalling the strut, so expect this. Trying to line up and slide the axles back in place was a bit of a challenge, but once lined up they did slide right back in place. I drove it for two weeks then had the front end aligned, it’s as close to factory specs as can be, but I am watched the tread wear on my tires before buying new ones-just want to make sure. I did have to adjust the headlights a little bit, which is very easy to do. Overall I did get 2.5” of lift in the front. The front end seems a little stiffer and that’s because there’s slight tension on the struts now. Not sure what it will look like when I hook up the boat, might sage the backend to much 🤷🏻♂️ maybe add air bags in the future. Overall very satisfied! 👍🏼 ... show more

Got this installed on my 2019 Ford Ranger & made it look so much better. Nice price for the part & after some shopping around got a shop to do it for $250. Gonna put some bigger tires on soon

Really like the look of the truck. But the reason for 4/5 stars is due to assembly. Once you have the space on the strut, it wouldn’t go in, unless I took the lower control arm off, then screwed the 3 nuts in top of the strut, which I then had to put the lower control arm back on which was difficult. I am not sure if it has anything to do with mine being the fx4 offroad package and the shocks being a bit longer. But other than that, I like the look. ... show more
