Dynasty Hardware 12 x 12 Plastic Access Door The Dynasty Hardware AP1212 12 inch x 12 inch Plastic Access Door is designed to provide easy access to walls and ceilings. The high impact styrene plastic with U.V. stabilizers will not fade or corrode. The door is completely removable from the frame and fits tightly with snap latches. The white finish with textured exposed surfaces can be left as is or painted to match the surrounding areas. This door is easy to install by applying caulking adhesive to the back of the frame and pressing into place. Feature. Dimensions - 12 L X 12 H in.. Material - High impact styrene plastic. Perfect! I searched all the big box stores looking for this size. No luck. I had to cut an access spot for a plumbing repair and didn't want to cut bigger than I had to in order to fit ones that were more readily available at the stores.     • Great Panel to Hide a Bunch of Wires
Bought this panel to store a bunch of speaker wires in. The house I bought has a bunch of built in speakers but they just left them all rolled up and hanging out of the wall. I cut the sheetrock out with a little pointed hand saw. It took more time to make sure I cut it level and square than it did to cut. I had a contractor install a panel crooked once and it drove me crazy! Anyway, I like that this is a hinged door rather than just a removable panel door. It seems to be made well and is textured for painting. I have not painted it. It actually looks pretty nice unpainted. It would have been handy to have a template sheet to tape to the wall to mark out my hole, but really it was very easy to do without it. Don't forget some kind of construction adhesive to stick it on with. I put some on and then used blue painters tape to hold it tight overnight. Packaging was great. Just some clear plastic wrap that easily came off. ... show more

This product is perfect for allowing access into a drywall ceiling or wall. I cut my hole and place my access door with some glue, everything fit well and after 24hrs everything was set. One of the easiest installations, and after everything is dry you can paint the door to match whatever is around it. On a delivery note, I could not find this sized access door in stock at my local hardware stores Lowes, Ace, and Home Depot to name a few. All offered to have it shipped to me or the store within 5 business days, lucky for me I have Amazon Prime. Amazon is proving to have exactly what you are looking for. ... show more

It's a plastic access panel, what is there to say? Reasonably priced and works as expected. I used Loctite Power Grab to glue it in place, which worked great because it was a ceiling installation and I was afraid I'd have to figure out a way to hold in in place while the adhesive set.
