I absolutely loved the fact that it did not look like a regular cane and it had a lot more grip and it was a lot easier to go hiking with it the problem is however one of the clips broke on the bottom, the one that allows you to adjust the height. I emailed the company but I did not get a response to the best of my knowledge. When I ordered this came I was hoping that it would give me the stability I was looking for. Originally I was hoping to find canes like the one that handicapped receive and I was told they don’t sell them to the general public. I was thrilled when I saw two things on this cane, the handle was backwards and there was a stabilizer on the bottom of the cane. I tried it and it was the first time I’ve ever used a more stable cane. The way your hand rest on the handle, it correctly balances leaning right or left. The stabilizer on the end of the cane is perfect. You ever have the feeling of falling because you’re off balance. This cane was very easy for me to use. It is lightweight and helps with my balance. I was havimg a hip problem and this cane made it very easy for me to get around with less pain, and feel safe.

    • Planned obsolescence due to poorly designed grips? Needs option to be taller as well

I have now had two of these canes. And have experienced the same issue as others who talk about the grips tearing within the first couple months and then the cane being uncomfortable/painful to continue to use. It's really aggravating that this company does not offer a replacement grip or at least offer some sort of solution. It's almost like planned obsolescence. I will not be trying for a third cane. It's also surprisingly short. I'm 5'10" and my physical therapist said the cane should really be another two inches taller to be best for me. Maybe it's because my legs are so long (34" inseam) that it seems like it should work for someone my height but just doesn't. I really hope this company is taking feedback to heart.
