If you feel like a change you can wake up your wardrobe, revive a faded top or brighten some cushion colours with colour and ease. These fabric dyes for hand use are perfectly suited for smaller items like shorts, vests or socks, and for delicates, you'd rather not put in the washing machine like wool and silk. How to use: 1. Weigh dry fabric, wash thoroughly and leave damp 2. Using rubber gloves, dissolve the dye in 500ml of warm water 3. Fill a bowl / stainless steel sink with approx. 6 litres of warm water (40oC) 4. Stir in 250g (10tbsp) of salt. Add the dye and stir well 5. Submerge fabric in water and stir for 15 minutes. Then stir regularly for 45 minutes. 6. Rinse the fabric in cold water. Wash in warm water and dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Suitable for: wool, silk, cotton, linen & viscose.
