LOVE IT! I previously had purchased JT Flex 8 Full Coverage Goggle, Olive which had full head coverage where the DYE i5 does not...that was my only apprehension...doesn't cover forehead all the way and the back, top and sides of your head...BUT, the visibility, ventilation, and comfortability of the DYE i5 is the best there is. It doesn't fog up at all. I tried a DYE i4 and decided on the DYE i5 because it offered more coverage than the DYE i4. Everybody wanted to use my mask so I let a few try it and they said, "this is the absolute best, I am going to get one now." The lens is an easy change out, slide the top and bottom levers located inside the mask and the lens slides right off the front, put another lens in and snap it and slide the levers back into position and you are ready to go. This mask comes with a mirror lens which I prefer a clear lens especially if I play at night, so I immediately switched out the lens when I got it. To make up for the lack of head coverage I bought a tactical helmet that fits perfectly with my DYE i5 OneTigris MICH 2002 Action Version Tactical Helmet ABS Helmet for Airsoft Paintball (Black) (see attached pictures). The tactical helmet fits without needing any adjustments and has adequate ventilation compared to wearing a padded baseball cap backwards. DYE i5 fits great on women and men. This mask clearly enhances your game. It is costly, trust me I know...but it's worth it...I can't argue that. ... show more

Love this, mask sooooo much. I forget I'm wearing it. Addendum; I play alot of indoor airsoft at least 3 times a week for the last year and have resisted the full face mask for alot of reasons, but here a, couple of weeks ago I broke down and purchased this mask. I'm 6'1" and 200 pounds and have a giant head. I tried alot of other masks on but none of them covered my face completely like I wanted, but the dye did. I love the ratchet system. A friend of mine has an i5 that's a, year old and he's having issues with his. The quick change lens system is pretty easy to figure out. These goggles may have saved my life. They definitely saved me a trip to the hospital and I was able to finish my sweep. I was the last guy left on my team 4 left on the other side. One was holed up in a room. I was focused on the door to the room and my red dot when I smacked into a pole at a speed alot greater than a "combat walk".it rang my bell pretty good and for 2 days after from my temple to my jaw was sore and slightly swollen. It hurt to chew. I can only imagine what kind of damage I would have taken if I was wearing my old goggle/half mask setup. Oh yeah : and absolutely nothing happened to the goggles. ... show more

If you are looking for a quality mask with all the bells and whistles, this is the mask you want. Dye took a good mask, the i4 and made it better in the i5. I actually own both and can tell you that this is an upgrade from the former. Here are some things I have noticed while using this mask: • Wide view angle that gives great peripheral vision. • Lens is fairly easy to clean but try not to touch the inside. It has a special antifog coating. • Make sure to remove the protect liner on both the inside and outside of the lens before you go out and play. • Has more chin coverage so it protects more of your face, specially if you have a bigger face like I do. • Len's change is fairly easy once you get the hang of it. But requires some finger strength, if you don't have any finger strength, use a pen or something like that to depress the necessary buttons. • Does not fog up at all in hot weather. Not really sure how it would react in colder climates, but I live in SoCal, so colder weather is harder to come by. • Nice foam padding and the head strap is comfortable and super easy to tighten and get the right fit.     • “Replace your lens” if “hit from within 10 feet”

The instructions say to replace the lens if it gets hit by a paintball within10 feet! Really??? The creators of this product have made a huge error. Obviously it’s possible to get hit many times in the lens within a second... If I can’t trust this lens to stop a second paintball why would I trust it at all? It fits nice and it looks nice, but the key function of the product fails fantastically... Protection for eyes. If I can’t be confident that this product can protect my eyes, it is nothing more than a Halloween mask! As friendly feedback to the company: Make a lens that performs so well that it doesn’t need to be replaced as a result of performing its intended function. It’s intended function being stopping countless paintballs from hitting the wearers face. Maybe some of those paintballs are traveling faster than 300 FPS, if your mask can’t guarantee it will stop them it is useless as a paintball mask. Also: Airsoft players also use your masked, please take that into consideration also. Build a product that will not fail and charge me a fair price, don’t try to be clever by selling me garbage that makes it necessary for me to continually return to buy more lenses. ... show more
