I have been searching for the past year for the right down duvet insert. I purchased two on Amazon but returned them both because they were too hot. I already had two that I have had for years, but they were hot and actually too fluffy. I wanted a thinner one for the summer time that didn't look so bulky on my bed. This one is perfect. Don't be fooled, though, the light one still keeps you warm, just not hot. Other reviewers mentioned it's crunchy sounding. It is. And I love it! Very happy to have found this down comforter. I wanted fluffy but not too hot. So I got both the lightweight and the all season. The all season is more medium weight and it does have a bit more full powered so I was tempted to keep it, but we get hot at night. I threw the lightweight one in the dryer for 20 mins and let it sit and it did fluff up nicely. Nice enough for me to keep it over the all season one cuz it still looks super comfy and fluffy, but should be cooler at night. It does still have a little bit of weight to it, in a good way.
