Arrived quickly and I love that the manufacturer included a “care card” on how to fluff up the duvet insert and how to care for it. I don’t memorize what temp and cycle to wash various fabrics at so that made it easy for me! No weird smell upon opening, and I let mine air for 30 min and then tossed in the dryer for 10 min on low. There is a nice small “poof” to it, and it is pretty warm. I’d never had a duvet have a crinkle sound before (see other reviews) and it does have a small crinkle sound when you move around, I guess some people like that? Amazon is overflowing with down and down alternative comforters. It's not an easy task to find one that will meet your needs. At least it wasn't for me! I relied on customer reviews because the descriptions all sound about the same. My criteria were: fluffy, corner loops for duvet cover ties, cotton cover. I determined I needed to go with real down to get the cotton and fluff factor. This is a really nice comforter for the price! One should view a down comforter sort if as an investment...if properly cared for, it should last several years. It came in an unmarked shrinkwrapped space bag. No company name or description. I put it in the dryer for 15 minutes to fluff it up. It did the trick, but I sort of regret this as the comforter started giving off a slight odor of French fries. Not entirely unpleasant but still. I purchased a queen size for a full size bed. It did a good job of filling in the queen size duvet cover from The Company Store. I am quite pleased with this product considering the price and quality. I am thinking of replacing the king size ralph lauren down insert on our bed with this same brand. ... show more

I like this down comforter. I placed it inside a duvet. It had loops on all four corners. It would have been better if it had loops between the corners to keep it from bunching inside the duvet. Nonetheless, it’s not bad.

I've been searching for the perfect comforter for my favorite mustard yellow 💛 duvet for the middle months here in the North East. This is the one! Not as thin as my summer one, nor as thick as my heavy mid winter one... this is perfect for our cool days and cold nights in the middle months here!
