I had bought “blackout curtains” from another buyer (curtains on the left in picture)on Amazon and then decided I wanted four in total for a fuller look. So went to buy them again and they were sold out so I got curtains from this buyer and I figured they were the same. Same rings on top etc Nope, they’re even better and definitely black out curtain (curtains on the right in photo). So now I have to order again. And hopefully be able to return the not “blackout” curtains. But seriously look at the photo big difference.

These curtains do an amazing job of blocking out all the lights from the neighbors and the street. They are not terribly heavy, but are absolutely opaque. I hung them on the poles opposite the normal way, with the right and left edges at the front, so they lay flush against the sides of the window and no light comes in at all. Honestly! No light comes through now. I am surprised at how very well they work. The only drawback is that they are much longer than I need, but I can hem them up. This is easily outweighed by the great value and the amazingly good job they do.
