Okay, these are great little glasses with an EMPHASIS on little. They are just 3+1/8 ounce. That’s not a lot of liquid. But they come in very handy in the kitchen and around the house. For example: 1) beating an egg or two; 2) having the proper amount of spices measured out if they need to be added rapidly; 3) taking a pill (if you don’t require a lot of water); 4) holding tiny screws if you’re repairing something…..like a watch battery; 5) toothbrush glass; 6) on a nightstand with a carafe of water. **edited** I added more stars. A year later and they held up really well. One even dropped to the floor and it didn’t break. I just don’t stack them I stacked these next to the sink for washing as soon as they arrived. The next morning I found three of them were stuck together so tightly, I couldn't pry them apart and feared they would shatter if I used more force. If this happens to you, to get them apart, put the bottom cup in a bowl of hot water and put ice in the top cup and wait a few minutes before trying again. They should come apart easily. These were going to be my child's first glasses, but I'm not sure now. They're definitely a hassle as they stick so easily together; I'm not sure I want to deal with that. ... show more

I break things. Often. 😞 Duralex has survived me many times. We have little glasses for our kiddos and big glass for the parents! I plan to always buy Duralex from here on. I highly recommend this brand!

My wife and I love these glasses. They are easy to clean. Versatile. They can withstand extreme temperature ranges. Durable glass, good design, feel good in the hand and we have zero complaints and love them. Glad we bought them. We do not understand the negative reviews about "exploding glasses." I am inclined to believe all the negative reviews are from paid people working for U.S., Canadian, European glass makers who moved to communist China to make inferior products and don't like competition, so they spread rumors and misinformation on Amazon reviews. If you're looking for glasses that are well made? Appear they will last for years? Withstand breakage better than most? Feel good in the hand and look good and are very versatile?
