I am very happy, so far it is performing well, with this product I can use all my USB device, this adapter is priced very well, I am very happy that I made the purchase, I like this adapter. USB drives have to have pictures in a folder named ""DCIM"" and formatted ""IMG_XXXX"" If you do not have iOS 13, then you will only be able to get pictures and videos off your usb drives and cameras. USB drives require outside power as the phone/ipad does not provide enough power for them to operate.

This product worked great for a bit. I was able to use my wireless keyboard through the USB and also able to charge my ipad at the same time. The charging capability went first and then after another month now the whole thing doesn't work.

Purchased this for iPad (I think it's 7th gen) so son can use wireless keyboard and mouse. We needed a lightening to usb but this product did not indicate that in advertisement. Son wanted it and took a chance. Turns out it had correct port so it works! The description on Amazon was not accurate and I did not think it was compatible with the iPad. Nice surprise and don't have to return it. So far, everything is working fine and it has been about a month now. WAY cheaper than Apple product. Apple is overrated IMHO.

I needed something to transfer my photos off my phone and iPad and to my clients without having to invest in a new computer. This was it! I love this device! Super easy to use. Now I feel like my whole world has opened up where before I felt kinda stuck without an actual computer (my kid broke mine). I’m not tech savvy but I knew a product like this had to exist. I (very briefly) used this product primarily for using a midi controller with my iPad Air 3rd Ge with lightning connector. I'm fairly certain that it caused some sort of short or electrical issue in the iPad, temporarily rendering the Aux Out (headphone jack) inoperable as well causing some intermittent issues with the screen recognizing my touch. I believe this dual USB camera adapter was the cause because I take great care of my iPad...one might even argue that it might be a sickness, another story for another time perhaps. Mostly, though, none of this issue occurred until I attached this product to the iPad. I have an older model iPhone with a lightning port and so I decided to test the theory. But, no joke, as I go to attach the power supply to the adapter, something on the inside cracked/snapped/crumbled and it no longer works at all. This was on day 12 of owning the adapter and only the 4th time connecting it to power. I may have gotten a lemon, but lemons, though usually the exception to the rest, should still be known about, I believe. I personally would advise spending the extra money on an apple solution. I know the price of their products and accessories can be a hard pill to swallow, but more often than not you're getting exactly the right product with no weird occurrences. Ultimately though.... it seems it is sort of all a crapshoot these days, eh? Best of luck to anyone who has made it this far in the world's second most boring review of the world's second most boring product. Haberdashery bound.

The media could not be loaded. A small and useful device for when you want to use other products on your iPhone, in my case a mic. Quality is great, sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap.

With the new "file" folder, it's absolutely necessary if you want to put music and pictures into your phone easily. I use the Foobar 2K App and put all my music into the Foobar folder in the "file" area. So much easier to deal with than iTunes. I also discovered that mp4 audio and video is native to apple devices. Good to know.
