I bought this to soak off salon dip powder nails because I prefer to do it at home than at the salon because the salon uses too much electric filing for removal. I used to use the bag method where you soak off nails using paper towels, acetone and a plastic bag. That method took 30-40 minutes and was hard to get the polish off. This soaking bowl took 10-15 minutes because I'm able to put really hot water in the base bowl. Normally I need to use much more acetone and 2 soaking sessions to get my polish off, but I only needed one round of soaking. I think the ability to put the hot water in the bottom bowl makes the difference. I didn't even need the tools. Great purchase.

I love this dish for my weekly oil soaks. I had to use four dishes - 2 per hand - to warm oil in hot water and soak each hand and now I can do it all at once with one dish. Oil soaks are key to helping nails stay strong and healthy and this makes it simple and expedient. I don't find it uncomfortable to sit for a 15-20 minute soak. The accompanying tools are mediocre at best, but I didn't purchase this for those items so I don't care about their performance. The dish is great and worth the price point. Highly recommend.
