Looks and feels as solid as plastic can. Time will tell on its durability but optimistic that it will hold up through the daily rough 'n' tumble (within reason.) Thought I'd post a pic of the fitment with this speaker tube anyway...

I was hesitant about these grills because the new woofers have a very thick foam surround that most grill will not fit. The way these grills are designed they to not interfere with the foam surrounding at all. They will fit. Go ahead and get a pair.
