Addendum: Was contacted by Neheme customer service who sent me a new drone free of charge. I applaud their customer service and communication regarding this issue. No issues with the new drone thus far! Followed the instructions to a T including pairing, calibrating the gyro, and using the take off button as a guide to flight. The take off button did not work, so we repeated the steps multiple times. Eventually the remote control starting beeping even though the drone was not flying, and then it suddenly shot up in the air high and fast and flew away from us. The drone would not respond to the remote and ended just continuing to fly up and away and was quickly lost in the distance. I am assuming it eventually crashed somewhere but have no way to locate it. Maybe ours was defective but this is definitely not for kids nor is it easy to use. ... show more

I got my 5 year old this for Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised on how great quality this drone was. Could not beat the value of it for your money. It was also very easy for him to use. He has to much fun with it and spends so much Time outside flying this.
