I thought these would be a flat (woven) cotton, but they're a knit cotton. They still seem to be well made, they are very soft, but they aren't the cool, crisp cotton I was looking for for summer sleeping. They will still be comfy sleepwear, but not ideal for the hottest of summer nights. Otherwise, I would say the colors are true to the pictures, they appear to be well made, and the sizing of their chart appears to be true. These are very cute, very comfortable - they fit well on my oddly-shaped, short-waisted body. They come in many colors - I have four or five pairs now - and they have pockets. They also hold up well in the laundry - after at least a year, none of mine are showing signs of wear. The fabric is slightly warmer than I would prefer for shortie pajamas in the summer, so one star off perfect. Truly excellent pjs. Fabric is medium thick, jersey cotton, like t-shirt fabric, very soft. I’ve just ordered several more pairs. All seams and trim expertly sewn. Runs a bit large, maybe half-size. Overall, a bargain and a nice surprise

These fit great, and they look really cute on. I'm 5'8 210lbs, and these fit really well. I usually stay away from button tops because they are usually tight and I don't like to feel the buttons, but these are soft and roomy. The only problem is, I get super hot and sweaty when I wear them. I thought being cotton they wouldn't make me sweat but I do, unfortunately. I still like them and wear them, I just know that I need to turn the bedroom fan up higher when I wear them. ... show more

These are definitely cotton, I wouldn't say they are especially soft but the material is breathable. The 2x is true to size, the top is comfortably roomy for sleeping but not overly baggy. I don't have any issues with gapping or the buttons coming undone easily which I've had with other pajamas of this style. The pockets are a plus, not super big but they can fit a phone. The elastic in the bottoms is very accommodating and the shorts feel more structured and less loose. If you have bigger thighs it could feel a bit restrictive but I like that you can move around in them without accidentally flashing people lol. They're suitable for situations where you're sleeping around friends/family and want something that's both modest and comfortable. I bought a darker color so there's no issues with transparency. I like them a lot overall, would def recommend for bigger ppl who want to wear this classic pj style :) ... show more
