I've been meaning to get a landing pad forever, and I really like this one all-around. It seems nice and sturdy, has a water-resistant finish, and each side is a different color to help differentiate from your ground surface. One bright orange and one side bright blue. The size is plenty large enough for both the Mavic Mini 4 Pro, and the Mavic 2 Pro. The propellers will overhang just a tad on the Mavic 2 Pro, so putting it in tall grass might still be an issue. It would likely fold up a bit in taller grass too, as it has flexible joints between the 9 sections, so I'd try to avoid those kinds of surfaces anyway. It is lightweight, but just heavy enough that it lays nice and flat. It should work well to keep dust and pebbles from flying about during takeoff & landing. Folded up in the carry case, it has almost the exact same footprint as the broad side of both of the "fly more combo" carry cases for these two drones (pictured), so it will slot in very nicely when they're packed in my bike bags, suitcase, or camera bags. Definitely recommended!

As a drone hobbyist and frequent flyer, this little inexpensive drone addon is worth it's investment. You always have a clean take off and a clean landing. It's a small investment and often something that gets overlooked pretty easily, but I've found this product to be a great addition for taking off just about anywhere avoiding your drone from getting dirty. I personally never leave it behind and I'm quite certain that neither will you!

Do not use the grass, please. This landing pad is a great size, very visible, folds up smaller, and is very easy to carry. I had been using my back patio table to launch my drone and it works well, but it’s a painted black metal table, which becomes crazy hot during the heat of the day. Throwing this on top of the table creates a very visible location and home point, but it also provides some protection from the propellers sucking things up from the ground or the table. The several times that I had used this, it worked brilliantly. I hope that this helps.

This landing pad works perfectly for my Mini 3; I recently was able to take it camping with me and it was a godsend. I normally struggle finding an even enough spot, free of large pebbles or anything that might interfere with and break my propellers, sometimes tall grass makes it difficult, or even an uneven road cuts it a little close on the props. That being said, this little landing/launch pad cuts all those problems away, giving you an even surface to ease your mind a little when launching and landing your expensive little camera with wings. It takes up very little real estate in my bag and wipes off easily. It also comes with a little carry bag for it, in case you’re wanting to keep the dust from the ground out of your bag. Overall it’s a perfect little pad, it works great and saves props!

The media could not be loaded. The Drone Landing Pad is a versatile and portable landing platform for your favorite drone or RC helicopter. The platform folds up easily and comes with a storage pouch that can easily be added to your hobby bag with other components to your flying rig. It features dual sides of different colors, to help in various terrain you might encounter at launch sites. During my tests, I found that the edges of the platform would lift up from the turbulence from my drone. While it did not affect the platform too much, there would be a concern of the platform blowing out of place if conditions were favorable. If I could offer any suggestions to the manufacturer, I would add more weight to the construction of this platform. The material appears to be a heavy vinyl which should last if cared for. I was also able to wipe it off with a microfiber towel after using in a gravel environment and it cleans up well. Minus one star for the weight of this, but otherwise a solid performer if you need a portable landing platform for your flying rig.

I've been using this with my DJI Mini 4k drone for a bit and it's great. It folds up nice and fits into the case that I have. You have an option of blue or orange, depending on the side you use. It's also repellent and seems like it will last a while. It's great to have if you want to launch your drone in grass or sand, etc.

I was NOT a fan of landing my $800 drone on grass where the rotors could get caught up in the weeds. I think this also makes it easier for the drone to auto-land as the sensors can probably detect the landing pad surface better than the ground. Folds up nice and compact. Also a big plus if the ground is wet at all.

This is a must have for your drone operation. For those who don't know when some drones like the DJI Air series take off. The drone takes a picture and this helps for return to home. If you have one of these mats down the area the drone will return to will be tighter. I would almost call this a must have.
