I liked this cane so much I bought one for each vehicle and one for in the house. Love the comfortable gel handle. It’s not hard at all. It lightweight and folds up easily yet it’s very sturdy. And the handle and rubber foot glow in the dark which makes it easy to find in the dark.

If, like me, you hoped this was the same cane you got 10 years ago, you're in luck. It needed no improvement, so thankfully, they pretty-much left it alone. (My old one still works fine but after all these years, the gel handle is worn down. It's very light-weight and easy to fold up/put in its soft plastic case and either take with me or hang on a nail. It takes less than a minute to open up and use. (It fits in my travel satchel--after a lot of walking across an airport, I may need a cane that I didn't need when I first walked in (and I try to avoid wheelchairs). Once on the plane, the folded cane also fits in the magazine pouch on the back of the seat in front of me, so it's easy to retrieve and use again if I need it. I'm 140 pounds and it feels very sturdy when I put my weight on it to support my weak leg. The gel handle is more comfortable than the hard ones, and it does indeed glow softly in the dark. This is my favorite team. I love the gel handle. It causes less pain to my hand. And it's a little fun to play with. The other great feature is the glow in the dark. It's bright enough that you'll find it in any dark room with a soft glow of blue. It's great for getting up in the middle of the night and easily can be reached for. It's very steady and foldable. This is my third cane from this company. This is very sturdy and comfortable and stays up against a wall. I charge mine ( hold under a strong light ) before bed, It stays lit all night and sometimes two nights. it is very easy to find in a dark bedroom and a dark theater. This cane started out great. The handle is gel soft and the cane is really sturdy with cool glow in the dark handle and tip. It arrived on time and intact. It was great for a couple weeks then the gel started leaking out of the handle. There was no way to put the gel back in and reseal it. So I had to get rid of it. Thats why I gave it a 3 star rating. It was great before the leak. Now I do have a very bad leg and put a lot of weight on my cane, so if your just using it for light walking I doubt the handle would leak out it's gel. ... show more
