The first two pictures are showing one-shoulder dress, but I received a sleeveless dress. Super annoyed. After I noticed pics and descriptions didn't match, I contacted customer service to ensure I received the one-shoulder dress, and customer service assured me...wrong!

This dress runs very small! You will need to order up at least one full size, two if you're in between sizes or large chested. They should really mention that in the description, especially because this is not an off brand. They sell Dress the Population in department stores, we expect American sizing. I'm 5'9, 165lbs, 36dd, size medium or 10, but I ordered a large because it seemed bodycon and I don't like anything too tight. I expected some extra room, but I ended up having a hard time zipping this up. It's very tight, especially in the bust, so it digs in and it looks like I have big fat rolls spilling over in the back. The top is actually flattering from the front, I love the neckline. It is fitted until it gets to the hips and then it balloons out just in the front belly, no where else, and then looks fitted from the belly down and in the back and butt. It does leave extra room for eating or a first trimester pregnancy, but it's really unflattering and draws attention to that area, making my lower belly look even bigger than it is. I'll definitely need shapewear if I plan to wear this, especially because of the color. The material is a decent weight, it does have structure, so I'm surprised it doesn't do a better job of hiding flaws. I think the cut is the problem. I like the length, it covers my knees. The back zipper seam sticks out and bunches up, it looks funny. The more I think about it, the more I don't like this dress. ... show more

This dress has a great classic style. It's appropriate for many occasions. The fabric is a midweight crepe with a hint of stretch. I found the fit to run small. I normally wear a 10. I could barely get this dress past my thighs. I think the X-Large would have been ideal just to be on the safe size. Taking the dress in would be a simpler alteration than letting it out.
