  • I'm glad I decided to get this one.
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Air Purifiers
I thought I was going to be writing a bad review because I had my doubts the air quality sensor was actually working. I have always had a lot of pets, I currently have 4 cats. The main reason why I got this one was because of the air quality sensor. I know that most air purifiers work to some degree, even the very tiny cheap one I keep in my bedroom. I only know it works because the filter needs changed every few months. First off, it arrived quicker than they said it would. It was supposed to arrive on Monday and I got it Saturday. It was pretty straight forward setting it up. You just unscrew the bottom and pull out the filter, take the plastic off and put it back in. Then you plug it in. I like that you don't actually have to push the buttons, you just touch. Then for about a minute it scans between red (being the worse) to orange, green and then blue which is the best. Well, it scanned through the colors and landed on blue. To me that was shocking because of the fact that I do have 4 cats. So, I took it to my bedroom where the cats like to hang out on my bed. Same thing, landed on blue. At that point I was a little worried that the sensor didn't work. I keep a cheap blanket on my bed to protect my bedding from cat hair and dander. I gave that a couple good shakes and within seconds, the light turned red. So it works! I would say it took about 15 minutes for it to cycle back down to blue. While it was doing that, I went downstairs and ran the sweeper in the dining room. When it was done upstairs, I brought it to the dining room. Turned it on and it stopped on red. This time it took about 10 minutes to cycle back to blue. One of the big issues in my house is the litter boxes. I have one cat who never learned to cover up her business. When she poops, you could smell that through the house. I can honestly say that by the end of the day, I can no longer detect litter box odor. I usually do my "spring cleaning" during the winter because I'm busy outside in the spring. I decided to start early. As I washed down walls and dusted surfaces, the light would change from blue to either orange or red depending on what I was doing. The sweeper will make it turn red within seconds of turning it on. I will have to say that I'm very happy with this unit. I think people have to realize that having an air purifier doesn't mean you still don't have to sweep and dust. It will not get rid of dust clinging to surfaces. But, once it is in the air it will take care of it and should keep dust down if you do clean on a regular basis. Also, make sure you read the maintenance part. After running it for two days, I did notice some dust on the surface of the unit so I wiped that off. I also took the filter out. It has a fine micro screen covering it to keep the big stuff out of the filter. There were lots of fuzzys on it and I just wiped them off too. During the day I keep the unit in whatever room I'm cleaning and I keep the fan on the highest setting. About an hour before bedtime I put it in my bedroom and put it on the medium fan setting and it's so quiet I don't even notice it. The only way they could improve this is if they could put some kind of handle on it to make it easier to carry up and down the stairs. I think in the future I will get another one so I can have one on each floor. ... show more

  • Great smell reduction
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Air Purifiers
I bought this because I saw Matthias Wandel from Woodgears.ca review it. We use it to reduce smells around the house from various things (Perfume, food, etc). It does a great job. One of the main things that I was super happy about was the smell of the actual product. Sometimes these fans can emit a smell when they get hot or run for a long time. There was no smell whatsoever to the filter or the fan motor. It's very clean smelling. My only complaint is that the transformer has a high pitch whine to it. You can't hear it when the unit is on but if you leave it plugged in and fan off, you can hear it if you really listen to it. Also, when you put it on the extreme clean mode, the transformer gets quite hot. I think it might be slightly underpowered for the device. Ultimately for how we use it, it works great and I'm happy enough. For someone who would use it more often, these things might be issues. I do wish I could leave it plugged in all the time and not have to worry about the coil whine but it is livable. ... show more

  • Does what it needs to do!
Style: Smart WiFi Pattern Name: Air Purifiers
I have a certain living situation that causes my cat to share his litterbox with my room. This takes care of that smell and also rids my room of dust. I have noticed a great decrease in dust that I guarantee has helped keep my computer hardware clean. Whenever my cat goes to the bathroom, it notices the ammonia smell and clears it using smart sensing, tbh a great product so far! ... show more

  • By golly it works!
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Air Purifiers
I have two of these air purifiers and they are the real deal. I primarily bought one to put close to the cat litter pans because even though my litter says 99.9% dust free it’s not. Works like a charm when I change the litter in the pans the dust goes everywhere. With this air purifier on I can see with my eyes that the dust is being pulled into the air purifier and the air just smells better. I highly recommend this product. Also, if you ever cook something sort of smelly, or heaven forbid, burn something on the stove, this will eliminate the Oder in short order ... show more

  • We bought TWO!
Style: Smart WiFi Pattern Name: Air Purifiers
Total fan of the toxin and the app tracker. We couldn’t figure out why I kept having breathing issues. The system always monitors and I’ll check and turn on the filter when I see it dropping. We’ve no if T two now .. one for my bedroom and one for the living room.

  • Good looks, quiet, compact
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Air Purifiers
I got the black one which looks very sleek and fits very well with most office or home decor, being very subtle. It appears to be well made and I'm happy with the build quality. Also like it's size, about as big as a small wastebasket, but will clean air in a large bedroom or office. The low and medium settings are almost silent, and on high it's still pretty quiet. The noise level is really only an issue in the "Turbo" mode which I rarely if ever use. In the $90 - $100 price range this is a good choice. Comes with filter, you can get different types depending on usage. ... show more

  • I love it because the sensors are very accurate.
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Air Purifiers
Very easy to assemble, you twist the bottom off insert the filter, plug it in turn on setting that fits you, I use turbo because I have high ceilings. The sensors evaluate the air, red for bad and it takes less than an hour to clean air.
