These are nice sandals exactly as shown. They are fairly comfortable. I think the brand name makes one expect a little more comfort to the foot bed. I didn’t quite see how they actually hooked around the ankle in the picture. This wraps around the back and then to the front again to secure on the side. My fault for not looking closer at the pics and reviews. I have narrow feet and small ankles. It’s very hard to get the fit right around the ankle. Too tight to secure the shoe, and it rubs the back of my ankle. Too loose and the sandal flops around. The sizing of the foot bed was true to size. I wear a sandal in 7.5 and everything else with a sock an 8. I like the neutral color as it can be worn with anything and it was exactly as shown. Worried about a blister on the back of the ankles, but I am going to keep them and try them to see if I can make them work. These are very sparkly - so much so that multiple people have commented on the bling. I think they look really nice on my daughter, but she had to spend some time really stretching them out to fit her feet in, even though they are sized right.
