Ok, when reading reviews I always start with the lowest ratings. If I find that most complaints are about late arrival times or receiving the wrong color or size, then I know to ignore most negative reviews. These are simple human errors, or possibly unpredictable weather forecasts. I can’t imagine any bad reviews for this shoe.The quality is much higher than I expected for $15 bucks. I don’t know how it is possible to make a profit. They are soft and cozy. The black is a really deep black rather than a “grey-black.” I will be spraying them to be water resistant and will update this review if any problems occur. They are sherpa lined and warm. I live in Montana, and they feel sturdy on the ice. One thing I would change is the loop on the back heel. It is much too small to hold tight and therefore is of no use for me. After I put the shoe on the best I can, I must stand up to wriggle my my foot completely in. This is no big deal. I only paid $15 (on sale) so it would be petty and quite ridiculous of me to complain. The upper fabric is a bit more structured and supportive around my ankles than the thinner, more malleable boots I already own. Its almost like the stiff “pleather,” or leather used on many purses which is soft but goes back to its original shape. I wear a size 8 to 8 1/2. I chose size 9 so I can wear thicker winter socks and/or custom sole inserts. They fit perfect. No blisters or aches. For 15 bucks its a winner. ... show more

I wear a size 7.5 I got a size 8 and I coulda prob even went with a size bigger than that. I read other comments saying they're not the most comfortable shoes, so I also bought some insoles to wear. I bought these for fishing because I needed something water proof and something I didn't mind getting muddy. So I was also wearing fluffy socks with them and with these being steel toe, my feet just felt very confined in them with no wiggle room. I did wear them for the whole day and they weren't very comfortable due to them feeling to tight. They are super cute though and I walked through a lot of water that day and they held up good as being water proof! Get a size larger and probably some insoles and I'm sure these shoes would be the perfect fit for you! ... show more

As other reviews have mentioned, I’d recommend ordering a half shoe size larger than you normally wear. I’m an 8.5 in most sneakers, so got a size 9 boots and they were great. Very comfy and warm. One not-so-great thing—there was some sort of dark gunk on the side of the left boot when I received it. (This is just a minor cosmetic issue, but if I hadn’t been in urgent need of snow boots, I probably would have tried to exchange them for a new pair.) If you plan to wear these for hiking etc, I might recommend replacing the shoelaces in these boots with thicker laces. These laces seemed pretty thin — not super sturdy. But for $20, I honestly can’t complain too much. The value for the price was great! ... show more

    • I LOVE these boots!!!
I bought these boots because they were on sale ($16!) and had a pair of heels from Dream Pairs that I love. I bought the black pair. First off - the fleece - they COMMITTED to the fleece interior and it's through out the boot - not just decoration. I LOVE that! I wear a 7.5 and the boot fit perfectly! They are extremely comfortable (I have a lot of foot issues) and I can wear them all day long without issue. They are also incredibly warm and cozy. I loved them so much that I ended up buying another pair in tan. The ONLY issue I have had is the tan boot is not the same color as pictured. It's a lighter - timberland tan color. BUT they are amazing boots and I like them. I'm not sure how water resistant they are as we haven't had a lot of rain or snow. And they are a little heavy - but not so heavy they are uncomfortable - just not a light weight boot. I've been thinking about getting a third pair (crazy I know) and raved about them so much that my friend bought two pair too! ... show more

Going on a trip to Colorado in mid-March and needed some appropriate boots for the weather. These are very comfortable and well worth the price that I paid for them. I may have to wear socks though as when I warn them the last couple of times the back of my heel bleeds a little bit. So where to the wise make sure you wear socks. You get what you pay for & I would definitely NOT be able to work in or wear these all day but I bought them to wear around the house in winter so I don't get my good, leather boots full of mud. I did have to put a good set of insoles because these were a joke but they helped enough for me to wear. So add the price of a good set of insoles to the price of this boot. Overall, for what I bought them for, I'm satisfied but I cannot speak to how long they'll hold up. ... show more
